Artie Shaw came to dislike and resent this song because people never stopped requesting it, much preferring it over what he said was his better work. No matter how complicated and evolved his later works became this song far overshadowed them all. He often said he never understood it when his later work was far superior. Personally, I like this one the best of all of them.
