  • I don't feel adopters are to blame. The adoptee's pain comes from being given away by the original mother. In many cases, the original mother did not want to care for the child.

  • @atruepie actually in many cases the mother is coerced and brainwashed told if she really loves her child she will surrender the child for adoption and a better life because she is too young or poor and on and on, and some adopters play on young age and vulnerability of the young mother/poor mother and make her promises of the moon and the stars for both her and her child, it's very sad and sad to see adoption even exits, it still goes on right now, it's never ok to separate mother/baby

  • @atruepie bull shit is about all that is needed to some up your post

  • Ladies, if adoption is so horrible, then keep your pants on. With the exception of rape, nobody is forced to have sex and give birth.

  • @nomorefunds Wow judge much, do you live in a glass house just curious, also if you watched the video you would know this is the Adoptee talking, remember those who live in glass houses should not cast stones

  • I'm sorry but I think that you have almost no idea what you are talking about. I am adopted so are my two adopted brothers none of us are related and we are from all different backgrounds I am native american part Scottish and part Hispanic, my brother is Dominican republic, and my youngest brother is African American while both parents are caucasian. I love them soo much because they gave us what our birth parents couldn't: a stable family and a place we could call home I am soo thankful my bi

  • @Trumpeter110316 it seems you've been spoon fed and programmed to have that grateful attitude, all adoptions are different, maybe you were adopted along with your adopted siblings from foster care? however Infant adoption is a whole other ball game and families are torn apart needlessly for this monster called ADOPTION being poor is no reason to separate a mother and her baby, foster care adoption is different this is a need for a home , Infant adoption you have predator adopters sadly

  • I do think it is okay to remind a child that his birthmother loved him and therefore gave birth instead of killing him or her through an abortion. I have 2 siblings who were adopted as babies from teenage birthmothers. My sister has never struggled with the adoption, but my brother has at times and yet he has taken comfort in knowing his birthmother was a good person in giving birth to him instead of ending his life through an abortion. The other things on here I agree with though.

  • @Gowalum Its not okay to tell someone "you could have been aborted". That is rude. You should never say that to any child, period.

  • @atruepie I'll certainly keep that in mind as I don't want to seem insensitive but want ways for people to know their birthmnothers and often both birthparents, loved them and gave birth. If in that situation I will think how to better phrase the love of the birthparent if its a child. I do greatly admire the birthmothers of these kids who let them live and allow them to be adopted at birth as several of my siblings were. I will keep in mind what you said though.

  • youtube

'child stealing by the state' Brian Gerrish

for the truth about they prefer is kept hidden

  • @UKDirtySecret Child stealing is going on everywhere it seems mostly English speaking countries where they are taken by the state, then of course there is child trafficking, adoption is big business, monies are generated by the State stealing the children also, we need to end this monster squash it once and for all, they need to Take the money out of it, watch it all die then oh I pray I pray it does too many people hurting so another can benefit ughhhh!

  • Hmmm. . . I wish so much that my birthmother had kept me. I have nearly told her this so many times. It's funny because "open" adoptions are supposed to make the whole process so much easier for everyone. . . but all it showed ME as I was growing up was that my birthparents were not incapable of raising me, they had simply chosen not too. I can't stand the "you should be grateful" mentality I continually come up against whenever venting even a whisper or resentment or anger!

  • OMG!! This says it all. It takes a brilliant dark sense of humor to make it through this insanity with your spirit intact, though badly beaten and bruised. My son and I did, no thanks to this sham 'rescue.' His adopters are nothing like him and simply don't get it. Also, I love the Barbies! My sis was a seamstress at a pricey boutique and laughed about all the rich women who ordered look-alike outfits for their adopted girls. Adopting does NOT cure infertility or mental illness.

  • Oh asynkronos I love you already!!!! you SO 'get it'!!! Im so glad you and your son can understand and heal together. I found my sense of humour when i realised my mum looked better in a brownie outfit than i did hahah

  • i was adopted because my bio parents could not raise me for some reason but the people who adopted me i call mom and dad they raised me like every other parent did they told me when i was 6 i am 20 now but the only odd thing about it was i am the only white person in the family my parents are asian have you ever come to terms that maybe some people are happy that they where adopted but no you think it is evil it was ether live with this couple that wanted a child or live in some foster home

  • OUCH! Wow, that was a trenchent video.

  • "Touched by adoption" hehe what a laugh. More like, slammed in the side of the head and knocked over by adoption. Badly injured but still alive by adoption. Damaged by adoption. Keep getting the message out there!

  • It's sad that what's supposed to be such a 'beautiful' thing often is such an ugly tale in reality, if facts were all known. No one wants to hear the truth, unless it's a fairy tale...

  • i like this video

  • As a mother who's lost her child and fears to tell the "truth" of it all.........*KUDOS*

  • Hi sadeyes,I dont know your story but I know about the fear of telling truth. There are a few excellent forums about(and some bad ones!)with people who have been through similar. I avoided forums thought they would be full of nutters I was so wrong. They have kept me sane.dont be alone. tina

  • My only recommendation to make this even better is to slow down the slides with a lot of words...I'm the fastest reader I know, and even I couldn't keep up!

  • wow! If adoption is a fashion statement or a trend or taking a baby from a loving environment ... than UGH! I agree with your video. Probably all to often, it's the case. Sad.

I also know there are times when a child ends up in being thrown in a trash can, dumped on the hospital steps or abandoned on the side of a mountain left to die ... and in these cases ... I think adoption just might be a good thing.

Beth ... mother to 5 adopted special needs children (all abandoned as stated above)

  • @destinyshouse Unfortunately, for many people, adoption is trendy and a fashion statement. Especially adopting a child from another country. They want everyone to think they are hip and cool. The child is just a fashion accessory to them.

  • @nomorefunds you got that right, add to that also MOST INFANT adoptions are to fill a personal need to the predator adopter

  • very good!

  • Well done Tina.

Very good video indeed. You say it exactly the way it is.

    Thanks mate.

  • Another great one. Keep speaking out. Your voice, over all others, deserves to be heard.
