As far as i've read, it's in memory of the lead singers Father, who died of cancer, and the lead up to his death. Whatever the meaning behind it, it absolutely rips my heart out, every time I hear it.

As far as i've read, it's in memory of the lead singers Father, who died of cancer, and the lead up to his death. Whatever the meaning behind it, it absolutely rips my heart out, every time I hear it.

I lost both my wife and daughter to illness. They died 13 months apart.....I wonder why I'm still here. The pain never goes away. I hope I see them again soon

Sorry to read you lost your wife and daughter, but live on my friend and treasure the memories. I lost my mum years ago through a terrible illness and the pain hopefully will get better but the memories will help.

I´m living this song right now, I person I love is dying, doctors keep her with drugs, but drugs don´t work anymore... I´m just wishing she dies already and finally rest in peace, it´s tough. She probably will die tonight, so this song means everything to me, today is all I can listen to.

This song relates to me in so many ways, I had to watch my grandad slowly be taken from me by cancer. Seeing his face everyday in hospital broke my heart a little more. Don't get me wrong I miss him so much you wouldn't believe, but I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore, because "the drugs don't work", it was his time to go.

i had a friend who killed himself after he lost his child this song was played at his funeral aswell as listening to it over and over again while he hung himself! you cant say this song is for one thing! it reminds me of who i have lost to drugs and violence! a great expression that goes along way! not arguing about your comment just think you should be carful what you put! everyone has different feeling
