Nice chap. Very average drummer. Fits in well within Pink Floyd as a team member but not a unique talent. Same goes for Larry Mullen in U2 and Charlie Watts in The Rolling Stones.... The team being better than the sum of the parts....

@kevind39 Very much an average drummer, but he is quite underrated, as drummers often are. His simplicity does help make the Floyd sound. Would be very hard to stand out when your front men are the extremely talented Roger Waters and Dave Gilmour.

@jaf886 Agreed. Just listened to The Wall recently. First time in a long time and the sound and timing is (to my amateur ear) really good. He is not a "technique" drummer in the vein of say John Bonham but has a genuine solidity and style that blends perfectly with the overall sound. I recant my previous comment w.r.t. term "Very average" !!!

Great video list Nick. Glad to see you've kept your sense of humour over the years. The Hamlet commercial is brilliant and I hope your Mum is really proud of you for One of These Days.
