I live in CP too, was on a fourth floor balcony and saw a bolt touch down two streets over. If you're around starbucks you'll know what I'm talking about, and if you heard screaming that was me :p
I'm not sure where you were at to take this video but I can guarantee it hit Clayton Park...as a matter of fact it had to have hit my building. Twice the thunder sounded like Ker-CRACK instead of the long rolling low sound you hear in this video. Damn scary hour plus last night!
@cancrewgirl In general where were you? I was on Fairfax facing Parkland and saw it touch something, it was HUGE, and the sound when I was sitting outside was deafening.
You see where the flashes of lightning are coming from? That's right over my house in Lr Sackville. Much louder and harder rain. But this video is a good repreentation of that storm. It seemed to last longer than any I can remember.
This video would be used as one of those relaxation tapes ... lol ...
@seefan1 Don't recall the one in 2007, late august? That storm was just about as intense. As long too. When I was like 8 or 9, we had a storm that lasted about 7 hours.
Also in Lwr. Sackville...yeah it was way worse that that here lol.
