I once saw Geoffrey Fieger (Doug Fieger's brother, and Dr. Kevorkian's former lawyer) in the elevator in the Genesee County (Michigan) Circuit Court building. And I said, with a mock-puzzled look on my face, "Hey, aren't you the guy who's brother was in that band?" He laughed out loud. Even though we didn't agree politically, it was a really fun moment.

I don't know the name of the lead guitar player but I suspect he is the musical mastermind behind this band. He's a very gifted player.

@rockthecityatnight ... He is Berton Averre, definitely an "unsung hero" of guitar. This My Sharona solo has always been my all-time favorite guitar solo - just incredible.

That said, he wasn't necessarily "the mastermind" - he was one of the necessary elements of a great rock band - the kick-ass guitarist :) Doug Fieger contributed alot of the songwriting, and just check out that drum playing !

I wonder if the girl in the red sweater, first seen at 0:13, is Sharona Alperin. The real Sharona has black hair and I heard the record company let her accompany the band to their concerts (at least in the summer). She appears five more times in the video.
