  • Awesome Rachel!!!! Seriously, it must've been so very hard to do it, every part and every scene, editing and filming it. It was a great job you did putting your entire family to act! hehe you're definitely gonna be a great movie director and actress! Such a good movie, I got curious about it from the beginning to the end. Very good history :) Keep up the great job!!

  • @rafaelsm31 thank you, Rafael! It was a lot of work but ABSOLUTELY worth it all! It's an experience I'll never forget and was made even better by the fact that I was able to film it with my family! I'm so glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you so much again!!!

  • This is amazing... The plot was so original and unique. It definitely reminds me of Tim Burton for some reason. I really hope you become a director because this was FLAWLESS.

Insanely brilliant, two thumbs up. lol :D

  • @TheworldofTimBurton thanks so much!!! It is such an honor to be compared to Tim Burton and I am so grateful for all of your wonderful comments!!! Again, thank you! :D

    -Rachel

  • this is brilliant

  • @madhatter3421 thank you! :)

    -Rachel

  • No I don't mean the "freakish" like you thought ,she is amazing! Yet she is eveywhere I see.. :)

  • @LittleSillyFreak oh ok, I had a feeling it wasn't what you meant, but I wasn't sure. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    -Rachel

  • wow....this was...unbelievable!

Nice work! keep on doing it! this would also be the begging fo your dreams!

I'm so jealous!! lol..don't worry about me! this was epic..

And you still remind me that freakish Helena Boham Carter a lot in that movie!

It's like I see her now, alive..! :)

  • @LittleSillyFreak thank you, I'm really glad that you enjoyed the film so much! It is an honor to be compared to Helena Bonham Carter, though I certainly would not call her freakish. She is incredibly talented and so very inspiring! She is my favorite actress and a brilliant role model to me!

    -Rachel

  • 8:18 Tell me if I am crazy but I want to eat this lunchhhh!!! D:

    :D

    Thanx!

  • @LittleSillyFreak well, maybe a little crazy. The lunch scene took around four hours to shoot and it definitely didn't smell very good, haha!

    -Rachel

  • How long did it take to write the script and then film it and also, what about editing? :)

  • @ShannonLovenett it took a few months to write the script. Everyday I would write a little, come up with new ideas, and the story eventually grew into a complete screenplay. The movie was filmed in about a week and editing took just over a month.

    -Rachel

  • @oimoimusic thank you very much! I'm really honored that you think that about my filmmaking!!!

    -Rachel

  • Watching it a second time with friends... this really needs a sequel!

  • @wickedawesome38 thanks to all of you, I'm really glad that you enjoy it so much! Maybe I will write a sequel; we'll see what the future holds :)

    -Rachel

  • love the alice in wonderland soundtrack piece! it was great!

  • @mhm0304 thanks, Danny Elfman's music worked so well for my film. It really embodied the moods that I wanted to express for many of the scenes. He's a complete musical genius!

    -Rachel

  • Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Truly brightened my terrible day. I can't wait to see more movies from you! Hopefully a full-length shot of brilliance...

This truly inspired me to shoot a movie I've had up my sleeve for a year or so now... Thanks!

  • @wickedawesome38 oh I'm so honored to have inspired you and to have brightened your day. Thank you so much for your lovely comments, and all the best to you with your filmmaking :)

    -Rachel

  • You're an amazing actress, and obviously, and incredible writer, editor and director. I loved your short film, especially the end, I didn't expect that!! Your musical choices were really accurate with the scenes, I enjoyed listening to those pieces and watching what was happening.

Congratulations to everyone involved in the film, you did an amazing job :)

  • @L00kingwonderland thank you very much!!! I love movies with unexpected endings and twists!

    -Rachel

  • I can't believe you made this! This was very creative and it kept me entertained all the way through. The script was well made and it was funny yet creepy. I can tell you worked hard on this and it payed! Amazing job:D

  • @8776309 thank you so much!!! :)

    -Rachel

  • So you can change form and you are something like a witch! That is really weird but i like it!Your personality is very interesting and i like the music you used! When you fight with your brother remind me my sister and myself when she touches my things! I love your story and i really wish it could be part two too!You are amazing!!!

  • @EleniMix1 thank you!! Actually Miss Wallace doesn't change form, that is only Jim's theory. She wants him to think that she's the one transforming into the fly, when really it is only Clouse. I'm very happy that you enjoyed the film and thank you again :D

    -Rachel

  • Also, Miss Wallace freaks me out. I wish there was a bit more explanation of her motivations, cause the way it is now it's super unsettling, she's like a (SPOLERS) serial killer of little boys. (END SPOILER) But maybe super unsettling was what you were going for?

  • @vikio452 first of all thanks for watching and commenting! My brother actually plays Jiminy and I play Miss Wallace so that is why we look so similar, haha :) I wanted to make Miss Wallace a frightening character, but towards the end you start to realize that it was all with good intentions. She was testing Jim to find out if he had the potential to be a respectable person, but when he continuously disobeyed her, she exposed him for the "bugger" he is. It was....

  • ...his own curiosity that ended up being his demise. Of course, that doesn't make Miss Wallace a particularly good person for turning children into bugs, but in her mind it does. I hope that this answers your question. Sorry for all the SPOILERS everyone. Again, thank you for your comment and for sharing your feedback. I'm very glad that you enjoyed my film! I'm also very grateful to Neil for having shared my movie :)

    -Rachel

  • Hey! Neil Gaiman sent me here :)

I gotta say the fact that the two main characters look so alike made me go "aww theyre so cute together" a lot instead of really thinking they're enemies. But you did great directing your actors, Im glad you have such a fun family! I studied video and special effects in college, and also had to wrangle friends and family into my homework films.

  • Great job! The 'zip your lips' part was funny. :)

  • @EchoHarmonic haha, thank you!

    -Rachel

  • nice job ! i dont undertand all the worls because my language its spanis but its good !

  • @BellaLestrangeARG thanks so much for watching!

    -Rachel

  • Nice job, Rachel (and all the Lamberts). Will there be a Director's Cut and... what was written on the, ummm, plastic apparatus used at the end of the film? (Don't want to spoil anyone's experience!)

  • @profderien thank you very much! There will not be a Director's Cut since I am both the editor and director, thus this version of the film is the director's, editor's, and final cut. I worked 100,000% to make it the best movie possible to share with the world and my amazing fans and supporters! As for your other question, it is only the name of the company that made the plastic apparatus, not something that has any tie-in to the story. Thanks again for you feedback and for watching! :)

    -Rachel

  • Lovely short film, amazingly well done !! I especially love the intro :-) /Sarah

  • @longbourne2 thank you, I'm very glad that you enjoyed it!!

Waiting for you on the big screen,

Another Aspiring director, writer and composer,

    Sophie Proud

  • @HermioneTurner thank you so much!!! I'm so happy that you enjoyed it! And yes, that was Jane Eyre :)

    -Rachel

  • Nicholas: "I highly doubt it..." Haha!
