i am a trini but i love konpa, from shleu shleu all the way up to sweet mickey. this guy's stuff is brilliant. can anybody tell me what the song is about? i only understand some words here or there
What happened to him/ Is he still alive? Is that Jackeline Denis singing in that video you know the lady that sing encore encore. I use to love this song brings back my childhood memories in Haiti!!!
this song makes me so homesick all i think about is port-au-prince saturday morning going to kenscoff with my friends and sunday morning going to le lambi wit my goons i never knew better times since those days growing up in port-au-prince
I don't even speak creole and love this song so much! I remember this song back in the late 80's and it remains in my heart still. Love the video too.
My favorite song when i was 6 years old, that's that authentic Haitian music, not that Haitian diaspora crap that we make these days with fake creole words I call it(creoglish) . Sa se vre musik la sa la.
i love this, i used to jams that song back in haiti thanks 4 posting this and i like the name of the song too lol relax ti mal.............................
i love this song so much i listen to it almost evrery day. i grew up listening to Ti Claude he is one of the real ones. i wonder watevr happend to him.

ok,im going to stop being nice by now...look bitch, you're decapitating no one but your damn mother and father...just like not all white ppl are racist,is the same way that not all black ppl have a shithead like yours...fuck you, you're problably a gangmember or something, most of all killed other haitians, but you sound more like a kidnapper to me..so fuck u and take your shithead and fill it some knowledge..bcuz of ppl like you haiti will always b the same, but i beg to differ bitch!!!!!
what the fuck...are you Aristide or something? i don't give a damn to whom you may be...wow!! you plan on destroying haiti more than it's already is..good luck imbecile...since traitors won't escape, idiots like will probably commit suicide or something...In the name of God you won't be able to don't jackshit to my country...you fucking asshole, killer, idiot
Even if there's a classs problem in Haiti...musicians and artist are always the first to call for change. Praising kidnappings and assaults is disgusting...
yeah man ,mwen se yon victime sociale tankou 80 pour cent peuple haitien an .mwen pa ka tann pou revolution an eclate map pran avion poum ale directement rache yo
Mwen konpran ou. Mais, musiciens yo specially "Ti Claude" is all about change. pouw ka we on example: retendez parole music sa anko wa we. And siw te ka jwen album Claude la wa we sou ki sa misieu kanpe. By the way, I'm as black as they come.
it seems you have a serious case of jealousy going on. i suggest u fix that first. But all in all, good luck. There's no question about who runs Haiti.
blackpantherunleash, I was just watching the video, but I don't quite understand what it's about. I remember the verses of the song when I was little, back in Haiti. So who are they asking: "kote'w prale, ki bo'w rete, ki non manman'w, ki non papa'w, ki siyati'w "? and you say "li pat vle di ,yo tire l lol." Help me out: who is this about? Thanks. Much respect and love!
you need to stop with all your hateful comments. Just for your information, he is haitian just like you and I. His mom lived at 3eme avenue du travail because his daughter use to attend CIM. So, please stop saying all these negative comments.
I remember racing down route national in a Subaru. Lots of fun passing the tap-taps at 120kmh, then heading to kayona beach for some sun and a prestige with a Comme il Faut of course. "Garcon two more prestige s'il vous plait" C'est ca!..
That was the type of Konpa that influences the new generation. I knew ti Claude Marcelin personnaly back in the days (the early 70s) at Petit Seminaire College St. Martial where we went to school together. He was a serious musician since then. He used to sit next to me in Latin class for several reasons which he can tell you himself. Kenbe djanm ti claude. This was some of the best konpa.
This was a classic oldie back in the days.Great beat and rythm. Seeing the clip showing Route National #1 definitely bring good memories of adventurous traveling on this famous roadway.
this is why i cant listen to new school haitian pretty boys. if you cant get on this level then baby i cant deal with you.
