During the reformation the Rosicrucians infiltrated both side of the wars, Protestant and Catholic, this is what they do, they tried to take control of Europe but failed in Hapsburg because King James was aware of their occultic intentions and he was against the occultist. @pepamethodman Orthodoxy was some kind of an outsider because the majority of people who migrated and as a result formed the U.S were from western Europe the most. Irish, English, Italians, Spanish, and if you add the latinos, blacks, don't mention the chinese etc, so there were not many people of eastern Europe (few greeks, russians), so Orthodox church did not influence much there. Besides, there are no "secrets" in Orthodoxy like in catholicism (the Holy Grail, the Naian Knights).
