I played Kotor II four times, and the first three times I never borrowed. The fourth time, I actually listened to Atton explaining Pazaak, and then it's really easy.

Observation: What's interesting, is that even with the TSLRCM, formerly TSLRP and which has greatly improved upon the game, it still doesn't feel like it is what it could have been.
Statement: Of course, when M4-78 is completed and compatible with TSLRCM, it might make it more interesting.
@mitchellvanvliet BioWare refused to do a KOTOR2 and KOTOR3. Even one of the writers said that on the forums a couple of years back, they don't want to do it. The developers of The Force Unleashed originally intended the game to be KOTOR3 but were instructed by LucasArts to scrap it.
LA ruined KOTOR2, only allowing Obsidian under a year to make the game. The first game took 4 years. Obsidian had plans to continue the series, LA just never gave permission.

I don't blame Obsidian, given less than a year they did the best they could. I wish the game had been comlete though. The whole situation is just really dissapointing...

A council doubts you & reluctantly adds you to their special galaxy defending group. You have a famous military background. Ancient Alien technology being brought back to help conquer & destroy the galaxy. Mysterious visions leading you to the major location the villain will be in a dramatic moment that ends in an epic space battle & a fantastic explosion of a big machine.
@KryssySushi Me: chasing someone down not looking for clues. you only have a famous military background if you choose it and besides, a sith lord has nothing to do with the military. And the finale in Kotor is destroying a space station whereas in ME you are protecting it and killing a ship, more specifically a giant sentiant everlasting AI, not a factory. I will admit that there are similarities but its not the near direct copy you claim it to be.

Find Liara for info on protheans, find Liara's mother & what they are planning, find out what they are looking for on Feros & receive the cipher. All 3 Psychological Profiles in ME involve things that happened in Shepard's military background to win fame & be consider for a position as a Spectre. Revan was the military master mind that helped the Republic win the Mandalorian Wars. Finally an epic space battle with an epic explosion
@KryssySushi those 3 things dont happen because they were your mission. The goal of finding liara was to get info about her mother but she knew very little and ended up joining you. You go to Noveria to find Benezia, you go to Feros because of the Geth attack. You arent searching for clues as to what hes planning.. you find them, but you arent looking for them. In kotor the 3 major places are direct repitition. Ask questions, go somehwere else, do a mission, open a map. Next location.

I don't blame Obsidian, given less than a year they did the best they could. I wish the game had been comlete though. The whole situation is just really dissapointing...

@ilikemyskin If you ask me, KOTOR 1 is easy and pointless and designed better in the form of ME1.
I don't like the idea that BioWare reused KOTOR1 for ME1's story, but hell at least the game was fun to play.

@BagTheMEAT . 3 major locations to visit, collecting clues to what the villain is doing & visiting ancient alien ruins. A council doubts you & reluctantly adds you to their special galaxy defending group. You have a famous military background. Ancient Alien technology being brought back to help conquer & destroy the galaxy. Mysterious visions leading you to the major location the villain will be in a dramatic moment that ends in an epic space battle & a fantastic explosion of a big machine.

@KryssySushi Me: chasing someone down not looking for clues. you only have a famous military background if you choose it and besides, a sith lord has nothing to do with the military. And the finale in Kotor is destroying a space station whereas in ME you are protecting it and killing a ship, more specifically a giant sentiant everlasting AI, not a factory. I will admit that there are similarities but its not the near direct copy you claim it to be.

@BagTheMEAT You have to find clues to find what Saren is doing. Find Liara for info on protheans, find Liara's mother & what they are planning, find out what they are looking for on Feros & receive the cipher. All 3 Psychological Profiles in ME involve things that happened in Shepard's military background to win fame & be consider for a position as a Spectre. Revan was the military master mind that helped the Republic win the Mandalorian Wars. Finally an epic space battle with an epic explosion

@KryssySushi those 3 things dont happen because they were your mission. The goal of finding liara was to get info about her mother but she knew very little and ended up joining you. You go to Noveria to find Benezia, you go to Feros because of the Geth attack. You arent searching for clues as to what hes planning.. you find them, but you arent looking for them. In kotor the 3 major places are direct repitition. Ask questions, go somehwere else, do a mission, open a map. Next location.

@BagTheMEAT So Shepard wasn't chasing Saren in ME1? Just visiting 3 major worlds for the hell of it & accidentally finding connections to Saren? We knew well ahead of time that Liara knew nothing about her mother & went out of our way to pick her up? Benezia wasn't believed to be working with Saren at all? The geth also weren't believed to be connected to Saren? The fact they were putting pressure on the ancient prothean world Feros was just completely ironic?
Did you play ME1 at all?

I specifically said that the purpose of finding Liara was to get info about Benezia but she didnt have any. where the fuck did i say benezia had nothing to do with Saren? where the fuck did i say the geth had no connection? And ME is my favorite series, played both games around 5 times each. You seem to be contradicting the truth and even lying about what i said when the evidence is litterally 3 inches above it.
