  • Omg. What's the song playing in the background? @ 1:01-3:10

  • Japanese Lexus cars are contaminated with high levels of nuclear radiation from Japan's nuclear disaster. This includes Plutonium-238, 239 and 240 which are highly radioactive and will increase your risk of cancer, infertility and sperm damage.

  • sick nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Is this supposed to be a production car? how much is it? I hope to hell it comes without the defect floormat/pedal/ecu!

  • $400,000 2 in existence

  • £250,000 and only 2 in existence.. im guessing they're both in someones garage by now then?

  • @lovelou1991 at this point in time there were only 2 but it is now a production car

  • @lovelou1991 No. The production version is 250,000 GBP. There are two racing versions would cost MUCH more.

  • the sound produced by this car can be summed up in one word

    BEAUTIFUL

  • kinda looks like a corvette at quick glance

  • I would like a Supra replacement for christmans please :)

  • Sound super amazing!

  • WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CAR!

  • GTR fanboys should worship this car instead. It's fantastic. I am a huge German car fan and would still take a Carerra GT over a LFA, but the LFA is fantastic.

  • @Astralwurksdk

GTR cost only a fraction compare to this and not much less performance wise .. GTR would be the bang on the buck

  • @larissawan I could say the same for the Corvette, beats the GT-R and is priced around the same. You don't buy the LFA for the performance, but for the luxury and exclusivity. I've seen just about every sports car in a existence, still haven't seen the LFA

  • Its terrible that Lexus is only making so many. The LFA is a fantastic track platform.

  • it sounds like a formula 1 car with a roof...

  • its like a mix of supra and corvette

  • sometimes it sounds like a squeeky rice box.. :/

  • @run4urmony What do you expect? Anything that has a 9k rpm redline will sound like that at higher RPMs =]

  • Why is the intro music from MTV show Next?

  • beautiful car front end is nice

  • I love the Lexus LFA - it's my favourite Japanese car. A lot of people talk about the Nissan GTR, but I never see one and think "I'd love to own one of those". If someone offered to buy me a supercar (I wish!) then I wouldn't ask for one. Whereas, the way the LFA looks, sounds and drives makes me want one. Even if it is a Lexus.

  • The engine is built by Yamaha and after the engine was done they had their sound department tune the engine so it makes that beautiful noise. fascinating but it still is a little too expensive for what it is capable of

  • Dibs.

  • awesome shiat

  • The LFA is the fastest production car around the GoodWood circuit it broke the lap record with a passenger onboard recording a time of 122.62 with test driver Akira Lida at the wheel.

  • love the music in this video!

  • Super

  • this is a really nice car. it has great styling and alot of power. this is the first time iv paid attention to lexus and im pretty suprised, they make some nice cars.

  • 9 years in the making...

  • was there a gumpert apollo as well ???

  • God Sutcliffe is a poor presenter. He is even more stiff and boring than Martin Brundle.

  • Hasn't he realised that that ine is the race car? And the road car has MASSIVE differences? Such as, the road car has no huge rear wing...unless you've go the nurburgring version.

  • its took the car 9 years in making**

  • I would by this car, because of the sound:)

  • LOOK! the reason the lf-a is expensive because its built like a gt car, and think about thow expensive THEY are to buy....:/

  • on 24h of nurburgring they werent very succesful but the sound is sick!

  • i see ferari 4......

  • Everyone Everyone!

Even if the gas pedal got stuck it would be fun dying in this car! lol! JK

  • wtf did u do 2 ths car...its ugly now

  • @0wnageKillz it is the lemans version

  • As much as I hate toyota and think they are pathetic; they did build this car properly. It's a long way from porsche or ferrari competition, but a big step towards being a legit sports car

  • @arena2101

heey lfa best ever car it's 2nd car after buggati

  • @arena2101

heeey LFA best car it's 2nd world car after buggati

  • @opoja5e 2nd world car??? where do you live...

  • @ evavonhaus : ever be at the 24 hours race @ nürburgring? ...its the hardest race on the planet , with the most competitors with the most dramatic weather changes over the years with 1/4 million spectators .....its " the " race on the planet !

not the most famous , but ask every driver who has been there .......just ask .the answer will be the same

  • I adore the sound from this amazing engine!!! Its absolutely fabulous!!! +1!

  • such a messy argument, I would be happy to get any one of the cars you guys have mentioned. And the fact is none of you can afford it.

  • for that price, I'd rather get a GTR for way cheaper and does almost the same at a 1/4 mi race...unless you have somewhere to hit 200+ mph...

  • The LFA first debuted in 2005, the GT-R 2001.

  • I think I just fell in love.. (with the CAR that is...)

  • reminds me of a new larger version of the ST-185 celica

  • lexus

  • this car and a tunnel..... *.*

  • i saw the motortrend comparison of this car and the nissan gtr and the performance is almost the same but the lexus cost 4 times more!! so not worth it!!!

  • @olgaa30 you are really not that smart

  • @64efa olgaa30 is correct. Whats so special about it. Its a fking Nissan GT-R with Ferrari technology. And yes. The GT-R does keep up with it. The Nissan GT-R with a $12,000 turbo upgrade would carpet bomb it.

  • @EvaVonHaus Really how would your modified GTR go in a real race like the 24 hours at the nurburgring.I suspect it would blow up after an hour while this car keeps circulating quickly.

  • Comment removed

  • @suprastar2 How do you know this wannabe Nissan GT-R GT1 wont break down in a race? It didnt prove anything yet. The Nissan GT-R FIA GT1 does race in 24 hour races like Spa, and Lemans very soon. Besides, Off the showroom floor Corvette ZR-1's and Porsche GT-2's rip this thing apart... What could it possibly do on endurace tracks. Ferrari, Porsche, and Chevy would destroy it, thats, if it lasts.

  • @EvaVonHaus The difference being the FIA GT1 GTR bears nothing in comparison to the road car unlike the LFA in fact the GTR FIA car is RWD uses a 5litre V8 the only thing the same is the GTR name please.

I'll give you the GT2 RS Porsche's performance exceeds the LFA but so it should Porsche have been making 911s for 50 years. The ZR-1 is also a good car but the 2010 LFA ate it alive at the Nurburgring 24 hour race this year.

  • @suprastar2 Like i said. It didnt prove anything yet. Let me ask you something. How many endurance championships does both Toyota or Lexus have? Theres nothing special about this car. Name one thing that isnt reverse engineered on this car from other auto makers. 1 thing. Toyota/Lexus will never touch Chevys or Porsches endurance numbers, ever. It hasnt happened and never will.

  • @EvaVonHaus How do you no that the LFA's next stop is LeMans and GT1 so we'll have to see.

Chevys please the ZR-1 is the first decent car they've made and even the build quality of that is crap at best.theres no innovation in that car at all.

Name me another automaker outside of Porsche that used the Nurburgring 24 hour race as a development platform for a car that wasn't in full production yet.

  • @suprastar2 I didnt say the LFA's next stop is Lemans. Nismo is backing the GT-R 100% for Lemans. A ton of auto builders test their marque in Nurburgring. In order to claim bragging rights, you have to win the European Lemans/American Lemans, FIA GT1 Championship. Anything else is bs. You shouldnt be talking about Chevy, besides the fact theyre giving everyone at Lemans a hard time, they own part of the hybrid and development departments at Toyota.

  • @EvaVonHaus No thats the rumour for the LFA Toyota/Lexus are looking to eb=nter in FIA GT1,LeMan 24 hour and there own Super GT series in Japan.

Of course other automakers test at the Nurburgring but normally with production cars not pre-production like the LFA.

  • @suprastar2 It doesnt matter. My point is that Nurburgring isnt a big deal. "Looking" to enter in FIA GT1 is one thing, being in it is another. The Nissan GT-R is already in it.

  • @EvaVonHaus But its not a GTR it has no characteristics of a GTR.It runs a completely different motor its RWD.The only thing in common with the road car is its name as everything under the body is different.

Nurburgring not important if this were so have Porsche been wasting there time testing there for the last 50 years with 911 and if its not important why does every automaker worth there salt either test or race in the 24 hour race.so I think your a bit off that comment.

  • @suprastar2 The GT-R costs $65,000 compared to the LFA's $400,000 price tag. Even then, the LFA isnt track ready, You still have to add roll bars, air jack systems, extinguisher systems, gas tanks, new lights, new windows, etc, etc, etc, etc, etc. If thats not bad enough, when it comes to street, the GT-R will blow it away with just a $10,000 bolt on turbo kit, even in the long run.

  • @EvaVonHaus I'll agree with you the price tag of the GTR and its performance are unbeatable I'd be an idiot to try and argure that point. The $400 K price tag is rightly priced considering the target market the LFA is aimed at namely McMerc SLR Porsche Carrera GT and the Enzo as these cars are all uniqueand have ltd production run this is where the LFA is aimed at so when you think about price aim that $400 K against those mentioned and the LFA is priced quite well I think.

  • @suprastar2 It doesnt compare to an Enzo, Carrera GT, Pagani, Etc. In any way. You can see the reverse engineering in the LFA that was used. Now, Im not saying the LFA isnt a great automobile. Its a great automobile. Not for the money though. Great marketing strategy though, used by Lexus.

  • @EvaVonHaus Tell me why it doesn't compare to the cars you have mentioned.

    Reverse engineering please explain more..

  • @suprastar2 Off the bat, you know the body style came from the Nissan GT-R. The air intakes at the rear panels and side skirts came from a Ferrari F430. The center console came from a Porsche Carrera GT. The exhaust note came from a Pagani. The paddle shift configuration came from Ferrari. The rear wing, a Bugatti. The rear end, an Audi R8, Total carbon automobiles were being built way before this. Theres a bunch of other small stuff.

  • @EvaVonHaus Are you serious when the LFA concept came about non of the cars you mentioned existed.According to your arguement the Chief Lexus Engineer copied basically what those carmakers have done design wise.Your arguement is so far off its not funny.

  • @suprastar2 Are you kidding me? Look up the info. I love to debate with you, but, lets keep it straight.

  • @EvaVonHaus How can I be kidding you how can the LFA's body design be influenced by the R35 GTR when the GTR had not been designed yet????

2000 is when the LFA concept started the R35 was'nt developed then so how can the GTR's body shape have influenced the LFA??

  • @EvaVonHaus how doesnt it compare to the enzo and carrera gt? It got a faster lap time than both of them at the nurburgring and its cheaper than both

  • @Miike92 We both know time doesnt mean a thing. Nurbugring doesnt mean a thing either. The Dodge Neon laps Nurburgring. When the LFA completes a Le Mans, Sebring, Petit Le Mans, Daytona, ill give it props. Fair?

  • @EvaVonHaus you cant just reject a time from a track especially a renowned one. Face it, its a great car and your just angry b/c its made by toyota.

  • @Miike92 Renowned in what way? What dont you understand? Its 1 lap.

  • @EvaVonHaus renowned in its a famous track and sets the standard of performance and balance. Many cars are defined on how they do on that track and the LFA did exceptionally well beating many european supercars

  • @Miike92 Defined? In what way? 4 hour endurance racing?

  • @EvaVonHaus 4 hour races dont define a car. Lap times do. Why do you think cars comapnies try so hard on a single timed lap. Too many elements that arent related to the car's performance can go down in a 4 hour race. Get with reality

  • @Miike92 1 lap doesnt prove a thing. Racing for 24 hours nonstop proves things.

  • @EvaVonHaus not at all. Who does that. No one justifies how a car performs by a 24 hour race. people get tired, tires get worn out, weather can change too many elements are in play that indrectly affect the race. A one or two lap time shows how a car performs at its best ability not wearing it down

  • @Miike92 Hmmm. I dont even know how to respond to that one. Who does that? Nobody justifies how a car performs by a 24 hour race? You should start by watching a Le Mans race. Then talk.

  • @EvaVonHaus How do you justify the LFA getting a 7:24 on the nurburgring? Its obviously underpowered when compared to the enzo and zr1, yet it manages to pull away from them for a better time. If you cant even explain that, then theirs no use talking

  • @Miike92 Its 1 lap. The Vipers in the 98 or 99 Le Mans were blowing away the Porsches in lap time at qualifying. By the end of the race Porsche one at like 80 laps ahead of the remaining Viper. 1 lap doesnt mean a thing.

  • @EvaVonHaus if that was the case, their would be no need to for one lapped times. Theirs obvious reasons why porsche kept wanting to get a faster nurburgring time to beat the GTR: the lap time is meaningful. Especially b/c the lap issnt bombarded with other race cars trying to get their best time also.

  • @EvaVonHaus there is a world off difference between production and race cars, the race version of a car will never be like the production version

  • @EvaVonHaus If the Nurburgring soesn't mean a thing then why does just about every motor company on the planet test there if as you say it doesn't meaN A THING.

  • @suprastar2 Why do you see cars at autoshows in America that wont ever be sold in America???? It doesnt mean a thing. If you want to earn bragging rights in the racing word, theres 1 of 4 races you must win. Nurburgring isnt one of them. And that one lap around it doesnt matter either. So, no, it doesnt mean a thing.

  • @EvaVonHaus Pitty the auto manufacturers don't agree with as they surely test there for a reason.so in actual fact it does mean something or why would they test there.

  • my 911 is enough ! And cheaper !

  • @911TurboGear i igree with you i take a 911 turbo over this overpriced lexus anyday!

  • @olgaa30 neither are you !

  • @911TurboGear ... You want a brownie or something? Who cares who has bigger balls or who has a larger cock.. no need to brag about this or that.

  • please. cheap ass quality, slow, ugly. i worked for and drove all porsche you can imagine and would NEVER buy one. even my 85 escort rs turbo was more fun than any porsche i ever drove. the lfa is a rpm dream and build with materials a porsche can only dream of. like most of us for such a car.

  • @element303 Thats the most stupid thing ive ever heard ! :D You wanna tell me that japanese cars got better materials in it as a german car ? Holy shit ?!?! Also the Porsche is cheaper than this cheap material plastic made in whatever car build from little 6 year old kids ? If you ever driven a Porsche before you would never tell this shit ! ;)

  • well maybe you are a german and dont have any intelligence to understand my words. as i SAID. i have worked for porsche for 2 years in germany and part of my job was to drive 5-10 porsche DAILY. plus i have build my own cars and engines. a porsche is extremely BAD QUALITY - thats a fact. plus they feel so fucking boring to drive, you dont even feel the power they have UNLESS its a porsche from the 80's. and yes this japanese car have better quality and jap engines are the best engines worldwide

  • @element303 Well ! Your build your own cars ? I dont believe that really ! :D Porsche got bad quality and an Lexus got better ? Well its gettin hiarious ! Fact is you never driven a Porsche because you tell such a bullshit. Your just a stupid scammer :DD But go on tell some other shit your entertaining me ;)

  • @911TurboGear Its his perspective, and i believe he has the right to do so. I completely disagree with him but i understand where he is coming from. Be somewhere long enough and you'll find all the negatives of it...

  • @911TurboGear To be fair Porsche are the market leaders as I fear weather its Lexus/Toyota.Nissan or Honda when they build cars like this envariably Porsche are the benchmark I think there is no secret there not Ferrari not Lambo Mercedes BMW Zonda Mclaren its always been Porsche as the manufacturer that Japanese automakers target.

  • @element303: The fact that someone is agruing that Japanese build quality is good vs anythign (let alone german cars) is downright embarassing. You must be 14. Here's a tip- before you make yourself look like a bigger idiot, why don't you google "Toyota recall", then check out Consumer Reports reliability ratings. Dumbass.

  • @arena2101 Yeah, google searching, eh. You just searched, and didn't give a shit time to read the articles. The reason why they recalled is because of the brakes, that are made from china. Well, that's the cost of globalization for you. If only, the americans didn't start the competition for cheap manufacturing, we wouldn't have that kind of issues. Also, it's not only toyota that have recalled, even KIA, FORD, and others did.

  • @arena2101 lol you think that toyota is the only car company having recall.. porche, ford, gm, bmw has recall too.. toyota and honda by far builds the most reliable commute cars on the road today, they just dont earn that reputation over night

  • @911TurboGear

"...build from little 6 year old kids..."

    you r pathetic !

let me guess, your porsche 911 is built by some fat, beer drinking germans ??!

    pfff..... ahhahahahah

  • @sunnygta built from guys with an IQ over 1 not under like the japanese fucktards who built shit like that cheap overpriced car ;)

  • @sunnygta porshes are cheap, so is the lfa

  • i cant wait to see someone twin turbo one of these cars

  • its not how the car sounds but how fast it can goes.....

  • it sounds like a toy car

  • Whoever would rather buy a GTR is on crack. GTR is a plastic production car, this is the real deal!!! v6 vs v10 do the math.

  • @bongst3m nissan gtr faster to 60 and 1 / 10 slower to the 1/4 mile i think id rather keep the extra 290000 dollars and buy a gtr, and if i was to spend 375000 dollars for a car i wouldnt go with lexus!!

  • @olgaa30 Why would you judge a cars performance by it 1/4 mile time thats stupid if it was down a true distance like a KM or a mile the LFA would eat the GTR alive.Remember this is a pre production car so once they see a proper launch control set-up that 0-60 time will drop again.

  • looks sexy but too expensive. id rather have a gtr

  • wow hes pussy shifting not even into true power band!

  • @0DmR0 shut ur mouth.... u probaly dont have the bawls either to rip that throttle.

Go drive your honda with 110hp. It was a wet track and he was driving a car that people dream to drive.

  • @bongst3m its funny u say that, my daily driver is a 260hp RS200 altezza soon to be replaced by a nissan 350z i race at local club day events in my honda intega type r race car as well, so shut your mouth before you make stupid claims of some ones life u know nothing about!!!! also i have driven 450hp WRX 555 STI RA version 3 and that thing must have done 0-100 in 3 seconds flat its was insane i can handle it mate chill!

  • Lexus MLIFA

  • The LFA sound like Bike sound rather than car sound. Of course I want to own one if have enough money for servicing car and living expense.

  • if i ever make millions, ill buy this car

  • cant wait till ot goes up against the nissan gtr

  • He's only shifting up at 6,000 RPM but the engine can go to 9,000!

  • And Americans thought taking two pennies to make one (with an expensive metal) was bad; here, it takes the Japanese $5M to make every $1.5M car sold? This is why Toyota has gone rapidly downhill the last 5 plus years: it has accumulated so much of America's wealth, the owners turned to WASTING resources like this, rather than spending them & top engineers on making sure Toyotas & Lexus stay at the top in terms of quality & reliability. 'Tis what happens when wealth & power make you turn lazy.

  • @HenryDavidT Ugh. It doesn't cost them $5M per car from a materials or labor standpoint; what they're selling the car for at the number they're selling is approximately the mean price they'll break even at after you factor in the R&D required to develop the machines that create the car's complex carbon fiber parts, tool lines to produce the car, and many other things - R&D, mind you, that Toyota can now use on other cars.

  • that colour scheme is fantastic

  • Fail. Its been in the making for 9 years. Stupid twat.

  • it screams. what an engine

  • i would hate to have a stuck accelerator pedal in this car lol

  • @marioldm Yep, a stuck throttle pedal would really suck in this car - especially considering the way it sounds.

  • @marioldm dont watch tv bro see reality

  • @marioldm that can be a good thing on the freeway w/o any other cars or turns

  • @marioldm that would be an ideal way to die for me hearing that orchestra for the last seconds of my life

  • @marioldm i would hate if you owned a car of this caliber and were still to stupid to figure out how to put ur car in neutral :)

  • @gaterzick That is one thing that I never understood. Why is it that the people in those cars that had a stuck accelerator didn't put it in neutral? Did it just not occur to them or was there something that prevented them from doing it?

  • @marioldm That was actually just a hype because Toyota beat all the US car brands in sales in the US, lol, that was just a media stunt to hurt their sales therefore an American brand can take over. Tell me then, why is it that the accelerators pedals can only be stuck on Toyotas that are assembled in the US? rofl, I own a 07 Camry which was assembled in Japan and shipped to San Fran, then to the dealer near my house, I never had any problems nor can I see how this accelerator pedal can get stuck

  • Ok shit. If toyota owns lexus that doesnt mean shit hardly. They have entierly different teams that build the cars and different standards that they build them by and different production factories. Ya think the ppl who built the prius built this? Definitly

  • i'll buy one just to see people's reaction in the neighborhood.

  • I thought he was going in the gravel on turn 1.

  • u cant afford it then stfu.

  • First let me point out that I DID say "as of April, 2008"...I have no idea what the exchange rate is at present. Someone mentioned the throttle getting stuck. I can't imagine a driver being so obtuse that they didn't just switch off the engine and pull over. Come to think of it I've seen plenty of drivers who should go home and park the car immediately and then sell it before they kill somebody.

  • 250,000 pounds?? The last time I bothered to look that's nearly 500,000 US dollars....at least it was in April of 2008. Even if I had the money, which I don't, I'd have to pass on that. I'd go and buy a Corvette ZR1 with very similar performance and have nearly 400,000 to play with.

  • lol you should look harder. 250000 pounds is less than 400000 usd.

  • @SpeedyNeutrino43

Similar in straight line performance, but it kinda fails if you try to turn around within the state lines of your current location.

  • I urge you to watch the ZR1 vs a Lamborghini Murcielago video on YouTube if you think the ZR1 can't handle the corners. The factory driver from Lamborghini can't shake the ZR1 on his tail and the 'Vette is driven by a magazine writer. The ZR1 has pulled 1.05 Gs on the skidpad a number of times.

  • that guy can drive

  • @NORCAL1988

lmao!! with you on that one

  • it would be a shame for the throttle to get stuck in that thing. haha

  • HAHAHAHAH dont be a bad guy HAHAHA poor toyota of the ass hahahah

  • that guy is a really good race car driver

  • totally freaking awesome just like tiny[dot]cc/fuckmywife

  • Lexus LF the greatest thing to come from japan since godzilla.

  • lol I don't know Godzilla was pretty special.

  • @digitalmascot you mean the Toyota Supra

  • @digitalmascot you mean GT-R...

  • are u kidding? this is not street-legal version, this is just a track car...Ferrari already made this level of car years ago(if i am right it was about 10-15 years ago). and this track version? every car company can make this level...u know what? it has single clutch, not double. the host is telling u about the track car's spec, not the street-legal LFA.

  • people expect too much. go rant on a different video. if u dont like it then STFU. Now go ahead and tell me "i can say whatever i want"......

    thats what i thought.

  • I think this car was built by ailens.

  • @lukedoggie you never know. maybe ya cuz classics are nice and horse power. but this maybe a challenage

  • wtf it has vtec

  • fucken sick sounding car

  • Sold there quota in Japan already thats 165 sold already in 2 months for $37,500,000 yen.Hefty price yes but there walking out the door.

  • $375000 SOH
