Yes - glad EA didn't do that - if they wish to make some money out of the license they should do something to support it. As they obviously weren't interested then I'm glad they didn't block off Brian Fargo's InXile. As for a new version, that's bound to happen, sooner or later. Bard's Tale is simply too well known and loved not to.
