I have a good ear and I can tell you most of this is dead on. Jordan is using a 1x12 bass amp and I am using the original Line 6 Spider 212.

The black strings are indeed DR Black Beauties, but they are 9's; generally too thin for drop C, but we don't play in drop C that frequently.

Yea for the original recordings instead of using my boss Br-532 I used a POD X3, and it sounds great IMHO. Btw Alex doesn't play through a Spider III, we both agree it sounds wack, he has a Spider II which sounds beefy.
