  • Awesome work man!!

  • good job man!

  • very impressive. i play a blues jam in colorado every week and you would tear it up.

  • Very talented ! What you are doing took many of us twice as many years (as your age) to learn to handle ! Keep up the good work, you will go further than many of us are capable of going !

  • this close to eric clapton.......ok ur right there

  • Such an old soul for such a young guy... your an awsome player... NEVER STOP PLAYING!!!! you can only get better. The feel is definitly there. Its good to hear it. thank you.

  • Nice jam!!

  • NICE!!

  • Im 30 years old, been playing since I was 10. I can't touch this. You have a gift my friend!

  • Very good young fella!!!!!!

  • shit ton of funkkkkkkkkkk

  • great playing kid. great sound, feel, you've got the blues.

  • needs some more chords and open strings IMHO

anyway it sounds good, we can see you are fully into it.

  • he's playing a solo. and he's in b flat. open strings don't work there. you don't play guitar do you? stfu

  • he's acttually playing in A. i think what you are saying is he is tunned down half a step? Judging by the coments on your profile you are just a internet troll, i just try to make a constructive comment on the way i see things, but you sir, you are a dumbass and YOU need to stfu.

  • he's playing in b flat moron. check my vids. he's tuned down half step. but as far as his guitar is concerned he's playing in bflat. comes out soundng as a.

  • You're correct in saying that open strings won't sound good, but i wouldn't ever say he's playing in B flat. He's playing in A. Clearly.

But yeah starfire's comments are pretty arrogant and stupid.

  • if b flat= a= 440, than yes it's a. if a = 420 than it's b flat. as far as his guitar is concerned, as well as you notated what he plays it is in b flat.

  • AS far as his guitar is concerned it's a piece of wood with metal strings. key signatures are given their name based on the musical context. If he were playing this same solo on a saxophone it would be A. It's A. it doesn't matter what he's tuned to. it's A.

  • Dont take offense to this, but it sounds like your in the key of A, but when I play in the same spots you play it sounds totally different. I dont know, maybe its just me, from your other videos it seems like you know what your doing, but this one confuses me.

  • he's in b flat. not a. that may be the problem.

  • Damn, that was some good cheese! ^5

  • Excellent feel and tone ! Well done kid !

  • That's some bad hat harry.

  • awesome, and you age makes it more impressive. Keep up the good work, all the soul and feeling is there.

  • well done harry

  • hey bro, all the comments are pure constructive criticism.... I know blues and I thought you sounded great.. do your own thing, and play your mind,, be humble .. and do work son... ;]

  • Enjoyed the enthusiasm, the timing sounded a little off in the beginning, but it was probably cause the backing track was a little hard to hear. Other than that great job, keep playing those blues and music will live on in the next generation of kids

  • Very well done, enjoyed listening to your playing!

  • good suff but it sounds like any other blues jam,

  • BB king does it ........is he not a "real" bluesman? and how isn't SRV?

  • Leave us guitar player's be with our "porn faces" and go back to practicing your flute, you're not welcome here.

  • are you retarded? haah ur so dumb

  • you are so dumb.

  • Great licks . Thanks for the video .

  • WO.oW !! pro

  • good work dude !

  • Really enjoyed that - thanks :)

  • very cool man, I'm workin' in A right now. Here's a tip. You'll get a lot more mileage out of the scales your playing if you approach the notes more rhythmically, disregarding big chords. Adds a little funk that I like. Try it. especially if you open licks with your thumb on the bass string. just a tip. take or leave it, but have fun with the playing.

  • i need this backing track!. Great vid mate :)

  • very impressive my friend

  • Nice job kid

  • your the only kid around who plays with soul...keep it up kid.

  • thats what guys like me n him need man some soul....not just speed and licks...kids need to learn to improv....its such a huge part of guitar at least if ur gonna be lead nad if not u still need to improv

  • What scales are you using to play this

  • the blues ain't based on scales, you don't need them to improvise

  • then what do you need!

cuz to me it looks like A sharp pentatonic blues but if you know better show me ur secret

  • @xmendozax a sharp? pssshhhhh, looks more like B flat to me, lol

  • @IamPrichard yea.........totally didn;t read all the comments before me where people are actually arguing about it. Disregard my comments, lol, just being silly

  • there is definitely a blues scale: the blues scale! is a slight one note variation of the Pentatonic scale by one note.

  • huh?

  • lol, the blues is THE PENTATONIC SCALE. WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

  • the pentatonic scale was the base for the blues in the 30's, but time has passed since then didn't you realize?

  • Sometimes it's best to keep your gob shut - especially when you don't know what you're talking about. Heh.

  • As hilariously ironic as that guy's comment was, that statement isn't really true either. Give the old country blues guys a listen. Their blues was decidedly more "outside" sounding by today's standards. Much heavier use of the major third and sixth, in particular.

  • Mixo-blues scale, mixolydian , and many others are used in the blues today =\

  • Good playing. I find it funny though that your youtube tag is fenderharry, and you're playing on a gibson sg. But you still did good.

  • where did you get this backing track? Please tell me.

  • Bravo young man! Looks like ya got the passion for the Blues keep up the good work!

  • theres so much soul in this playing, your gona go far bro. Good luck, peace

  • Hey wow this is such a great vid!

Could someone look at my vid like this?

It's for sure not as good but i could use the advice.

Again, really enjoyed this one =)

  • WTF?!?!?! no fair! no fair at all! dude how old are you this is amazing!

  • You are quality.

  • dude what distortion pedal do you use ?

  • dude that was soooo cool

  • Really great playin!

  • Keep playing bro..good stuff.

  • You are a little Angus Young but god damn how do you do that man!

  • seriously tallented

  • Wow. This is very impressive.

  • love the guitar agree with azproject and i like how u old ur guitar up so hi i thot i was the only one who did that

  • hell yea man. nice playin

  • what are you playing in...A?

  • I must say I have not heard blues done like that from anyone that young. You gotta be pullin this sound from somewhere below the ground. I'm gathering names and talents of some of you young players and with some luck put together a kick-ass blues show of some young new talent. If done right you guys can shake the ground and make a preseance known around the planet. I want to put this together. I'll be saving your name.

  • Thanks man, really appreciate it

  • Love those blues!

  • incredible for such a young age, keep it up kid ! best of luck

  • What can I say, you got'em Blues in your blood!

    Excellent playing brother. Great sound.

  • that was awesome! keep doing it!!! OOO AHHA MORE MORE MORE!!! (JK) ((LOL))

  • That's what Professionall is :)

  • You play great for a young guy. How old are you?

I'm over 50 and a big supporter of the SG. Check out my SG videos at AlexManteiv.

  • awesome playing!!! you rock dude

  • hey man ou sound alot l ike a local guitar player form my hometown spartanburg, his name is Shane Pruitt, you can search him youtube or something hes got some videos. hes one of the best blues players in carolina, yall got that same feel.

  • Keep on playing, don't listen to those bastards. You'd probably kick their asses in a riff contest too.

  • Nice work man! You're a great player! Think of how good you'll be by the time your 25 or 30! I like the SG too, some people say they arent as good as a Les Paul when they are actually the same guitar with just a double cutaway...which in my mind is better, you can reach all the extra frets. If u wanna solo in A way down there for a few bars you can.

Anyway, peace and keep playin bro

  • Sounds sweet man How DO YOU GET HTAT SOUNDDD on your amp ?.

  • you like stevie ray, bb king and claptons's music ha

  • Honey you are Amazing, and I agree with one of your comments, keep playing and egnore the bad comments they mean Nothing!!!

  • Some of them do, and some of them don't. Take the good and the bad and try to improve

  • yes your correct, but I was talking about the nasty ones!! love Brandi

  • very good job!!! keep playin the blues!

  • awesome playing, the best kid i have seen of your age.

  • very good your name is fenderharry and you playing a gibson :p

    nice playing

  • Dude, Not Bad for a punk kid !!! Nice Blues Licks, Good sounding SG, (Poor Mans Version of A Less Paul) I used to have a guitar like that once, then I grew a Dick !!!

Just Kidding I will be watching your profile for more videos and don't let these people get under your skin. You just keep doing what you are doing

    Freddy Mac

  • Good playing. Way to have your own style, kind of a buddy/srv?

  • Bet all the nay-sayers and gayters in here hate coz they only stick a SRV record in and play note for note and say they fuckin rock the blues.... This kid here, plays all on his own ... so just laugh at all the people who are being praised for playing voodoo chile exactly like the record...

  • All of u jerks rippin' the kid about his guitar positioning...ever occur to you he did that so everything would fit in the camera frame? If his guitar was lower, all you'd see is his face because it's pretty clear to me he's shooting in cramped quarters. He's really good, that's all that matters. Nice way to show your appreciation...or jealously. Grow up already!

  • nice fag strip you ve got there you suck

  • you're 37, have no videos posted, and are telling this kid that he sucks... fuck off douchebag.

  • He doesn't have Zeppelin in his name

  • ME 7!.. no seriously where do u get the tracks?

  • You got a nice tone there - and some sweet playin! check out my vids

  • I wanna buy his album!!!!

  • I just want the background track.

  • lol mmeee tooo , i just wanna practice some basic improvisation to a jamtrack lol

  • Damn That boy can play! And that is what matters.

  • does it really matter where he wears his guitar either way hes gunna play great plus its a sweet guitar and very expensive at that anyway he is pretty damn good

  • I'm pretty sure "never wear yer guitar above your belt, you're not in the beatles" is a cut screen quote from guitar hero, not fightin words. great playing

  • I think only John Lennon actually wore his guitar up top- George and Paul used wide-bodied Rickenbackers and Guilds, which are wide but centered around the navel.

  • your awesum!!

  • very good! nice sound and beautiful Guitar SG!I love it.

  • yea i think thats rediculous wearing your damn guitar at your knees its rediculous looking and yea there are alot of pple who dont wear there guitar at there knees or ankles like angus or stevie ray vaughn or jeff beck or clapton or bb king

  • good job, only one problem, never wear yer guitar above your belt, you're not in the beatles

  • what's the prob with that? why do everyone seem to think you have to wear the guitar at f***ing "knee level" to be cool? is just stereotypes people!! besides there are some of us who just can't bend their wrist that much, so we have to do what's more comfortable, and i'm not a guitarist from the 50's, i'm less than 22, and also that way you don't have to worry about back injuries or carpal tunnel syndrome!

  • i never said to wear it at your knees, every guitarist that has made it does NOT wear their guitar at their knees, all i was saying was to bring it down to your belt, i didnt mean to start a friggin fight over it.

  • well yes, it's not about starting a fight, i just protested about the way you said it...sorry....and anyways you can wear your guitar anyway you like it, above the belt (Tom Morello) or below the knees (Mike Mushok-from Staind) whatever suits you best...

  • I agree this isn't a fighting matter, but I like to wear my guitar above the belt. I have a lot more control. Actually, I prefer to sit down and let it rest on my leg. :)

  • hell yea man, move up to NC and start a band with me

  • That was really excellent! Great feeling in your playing! Big thumbs up from me :)

  • greeeeat feeling... i don't wanna seem exaggerate, but you remember me of SRV's style so much... just keep doin'it man don't be fool.

  • Awesome! You should enter a blues contest. Guitar center has them.

  • why is ur name fender harry?

  • sounds awesome... check out the english equivalent of what your playing. I just turned 16.... What equipment are you using??? Sounds great and you have great feel

  • PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. You will get kissed on the nearest possible Friday by the love of your life. Tomorrow will be the best day of your life. However, if you don't post this comment to at least 3 videos, you will die within 2 days. Copy and paste this, to be saved

  • nice work man, keep it up. we gotta keep the blues goin'

  • Great Freddie King/Slash licks

    You played it well ^^

Maybe I should record this backing track too lol :D

    Good Job Man !

  • "They were all up there playing with heart and soul. That's the blues. That's what it's all about" -Hubert Sumlin

  • What song is this called?

  • but what's your age?

  • I'm 17

  • yeah, I'm really 17 lol

  • i'm sorry that was my brother:p

  • no problem

  • a dont like you, arrogant

  • I'm sorry, lol. I don't think I have said anything really warranting the assumption that I'm arrogant. You can say "I don't like your videos" and that's fine, but how am I arrogant though?

  • awesome

bending vibrato is turning the wrist(imagine a door handle) just like any other vibrato

try not to wiggle the fingers when you do it

    other than that nice job

  • like the other dude said, leave that gay emo blonde thing in your hair

    you fuckin rock tho

  • um yeah that is a birthmark... I didn't dye it, I was born like that, there is no pigmentation in that part of my scalp so that's why I have a white streak

  • your good but lose the blonde line in your hair

  • um yeah that is a birthmark... I didn't dye it, I was born like that, there is no pigmentation in that part of my scalp so that's why I have a white streak

  • Very nice dude! you have put some good work in.

  • Some of your licks sound like Clapton's playing from the Beano album. You have true soul!

  • great

  • When this whole alternative/rap thing came along I was really afraid that good hard rock and blues was going to die, but with guys like Casey and the young shredders I have been seeing I am really encouraged. This guy has feel beyond his years. I already like him better than Mayer, who I think is an uninspired SRV clone. Casey hasn't hung his hat just on Stevie's stuff and he could end up being a star in his own right if he keeps trying to grow.

  • Pretty good, but it just feels like i've heard theses riffs too many times before.

Try to come up with some more original licks, other than that though, pretty sweet playing.

  • This is really awesome. Maybe lower the treble? It's a little sharp. And you do remind me of John mayer a little when you play.

  • you amaze me. such talent

  • Wow! that was great, beautiful guitar, beautiful playing! The only thing is that, for a song like this, you should play it clean, like an ES. I mean overdrive works, but it'll be much more effective with a clean sound. NIce to know that there are other young blues guitarist out there.

  • Man that is some sweet playing. I hope you get discovered. Don't ever stop playing man.

  • fucking excentric! im bout to post some blues myself!

  • amazing.keep it up!

  • Keep it up kid.

  • That kids going to get so much ass when he's older

  • fuckin sweet

  • was that john lee hookers pick hand movements thrown in there?

  • absolutely awesome man :-o

  • I´ve been enyoying some of your vids. It makes me happy to see someone at your age play that music the way you do!

  • That was amazing, when does the CD come out?

Seriously dude, put about 10 of those together and burn a CD, I got $20 here for ya...

If not I will catch you when you go on tour :)

  • excellent!!!dont you stoP!!!

  • yea, pay some dues, you will get there.

  • hell yea! nice solo!

  • very nice!

  • wicked! great job ^^

  • great!

  • Whats your equipment man? The tone is awesome..

  • Rock ! Thats Awesome brother ! Nice feeling..

  • awesome.

    your videos rock.

  • really cool

  • thts really awsum, i enjoy ur vids.

  • dude, for a young pup you play very well, good sense of timing on this slow one.

  • Great! As usual! I'll try to get my camera working and post some videos soon. We have similar playing styles, so you'll have to watch them and tell me what you think!

  • this really reminds me of the sort of jam i'd have with my dad and his keyboard backing track...except it's only guitar solo and no break--for 3 and 1/2 minutes! amazing.

  • Very good ! You got the bues man !

  • slow blues is the true test. good stuff, but you should try to develop your own sound more.
