@codenamecordon cars are built around tires, suspension and aero is nothing without correct brake bias. if u watch closely u can see his tires failing, his suspension failing and the fact that the brake bias is set to 51 / 49 isnt helping " he needed a new car and built one.

just found this. I was wrong it is an IRL 3.5 liter V8. "The power source is a bit special, too bad that this was the only good picture that I could find. It is powered by a 3.5 liter V8 from a Indy Racing League car. It puts out 530bhp at 11.000rpm, yep that's right. The engine has been mated to a F1 six speed gearbox that was used in a car driven by Alain Prost. That combined with the amazing low weight of the car, 800kg, it is capable of amazing things."

That is amazing. The engine does not sound like a v8 maybe an s14. Buick built a 3.5 V8 (215 cu, inch) which was eventually used by rover and "stroked" for Formula 5000. But it was a push rod engine.

codenamecordon i did my research. actually i know he needed a new car with suspension built inhouse by his shop and people. if u look at his new car ull see a rear suspension that is much stronger and reinforced. so before u start attacking my comment u might want to check out his new e30. its faster stronger and is cross hatched with a lower cg and every arm adjustable.

GM never produced 3.5 V8 DOHC engine for IRL. Only 3.5 V8 is produced by Honda.

Oldsmobile produced 4.0 V8 DOHC for street use in Aurora, and after, same engine used in IRL but highly modified using the Ford-Cosworth design. In 2009 I was surprised, when I found that this 4.0 V8 Oldsmobile engine was blueprinted Nissan V8 design.
