I once made it a goal to exterminate the entire mudcrab population, figuring I'd shut up half of the population of Tamriel. Apparently though, theres some sort of game mechanic that prevents mudcrabs from appearing when you actually want them. After searching for what seemed like ages, I gave up and chose to just ignore the hundreds of conversations about a crustacean of the mud variety. As I was walking away, a mudcrab came out of nowhere and attacked me. I quit Oblivion forever the next day.
