"The Bush Doctrine" basically was a part of his botched foreign policy that stated the United States had the right to secure it's self from nations that harbor and help terrorist groups. (which he used to justify the invasion of Afghanistan). He later added the element of the preemptive strikes/war against nations "HE" deemed a threat to the national security of the United States, immediate or not. (which he used to invade Iraq for oil and profit under the guise of looking for WMD's)
1 And the Congress approved and funded the invasion of Iraq, 2) Obama just ordered another 30,000 troops to Afghanistan, 3) And we are still in Iraq.
3) All of these problems which were created under the leadership (or lack of) of the Bush administration. Damage among much that the Obama administration is left to repair.

Palin obviously agrees on Bush's docrine in dealing with international issue. But at least it is a bit tempered on the fact that she will try to exhaust all other means of settling an issue, where an all-out war should be the last option. Her fall-out was she wasn't dipolomatic enough and stick to her principle of "war being the last option" in the issue regarding the "crossing the Pakistan border" in the pursuit of terrorists.She handled the interview very badly,appearing inconsistent.
