  • I know! Feeble attempt. Help, friends. Help, Jorma. I know this from a period you'd just as soon forget, but this is a magnificent song!

  • Now I've seen the ... diamonds on the floor

And life's not gonna be like they weas before

But still I've seen the shadows of the pistols roar

    Above their heads I've fallen.

    Well, this sawdust feelin' fine

My body it sure don't mind.

    This solitary flyin'

    At someone's stare again

  • This is the hard part! One more line before they call the ... pass It's 'til the realm of ... pure 'magination lasts 'til the thunder claps and the light'nin' blasts Around the house I've fallen. Well, this sawdust feelin' fine My body it sure don't mind. This solitary flyin' At someone's stare again I don't remember when.

  • Early this mornin' someone's hot on the line Sayin' me an' my friends downtown drinkin' wine. They're tryin' to help me, but they ain't got time To see which way I've fallen. Well. this sawdust feelin' fine My body it just don't mind. This solitary flyin' At someone's stare again I don't remember when. This mornin' feels as if it's still a part of night And the dream I had the photograph is out of sight. But what I'm feelin' with 'em now gives you the right To see how far I've fallen.
  • @GrandpaConehead Always amazes me.....these great ol melodies comin out of the whole 1930's blues delta trip.....Jorma's kinda like a psychedelic jim Croce...great tune but with alot of neat ol' references

  • Grampa needs yer help! After many years, I believe I'm close to understanding!

Please help filling in the gaps!

  • Jack used Morley Fuzzwahs back in them days I do believe.. ( got to play the flying V bass on the stage at soundcheck in central park, once)!we used to help em load in so we could see the shows for free !!

  • Next-to-impossible to find for years, after Grunt records folded. Probably the most Dylanesque thing that Hot Tuna did. Love this song!

  • @elephantrange i remember trying to find the vinyl when i was growing up. great to finally hear some of this!!

  • try playing the Right song man, that isn't what u put on the title-dumass

  • Does anybody know what fuzz box this cat used? That tone is very sweet and plenty nasty at once. The songwriting is awesome, too.

  • Tuna helps get me though life.

  • They're not underrated. Anyone who knows ANYTHING about music knows how great HOT TUNA was back-in-the-day, and they're still going strong to this day!

  • At last on youtube ! Got both the vinyl and the CD, but it's so good to listen to it here ! Beautiful song !!! Thanx ! Hot Tuna is one of the most underrated groups !

  • good track, great band
