i'm sorry, is this what they did for church windows, or was that more of a mosaic thing with individual colored glass pieces?

@MrTrykster Your thinking of either Stained Glass or the type of glass painting which involves firing the glass in a kiln. The type of in this video aims to give a similar effect but without the need for a kiln.

oh i see, thank you :) you used a special outliner right? not just... black paint.

@MrTrykster Its a bit like a very thick paint and creates a "reservoir" for the paint.

Its a solvent base paint so it does adhere very well, you would need to either soak it in hot water or attack it will a sharp blade to get it off.

Rainbow Glass are no more but the same paint is available as Fred Aldous Glass Stain.
