I am certainly very sad about what happened to this child but why is there a worldwide media search, attention and compassion about her when there are hundreds or thousands of other children kidnapped all over the world each year ?
Answer: She is white. She is a girl, not a boy. Parents are British. Parents are doctors and educated.
