Just crank the bass and the high buttons up, and cut all the medium frequencies by turning the double button completly down... then add Compressor and Chorus, and after learning his technique (search Fieldy's videos here) you may sound a bit like him.

Its actually not an effect... I'm not trying to be an ass, but its just that Fieldy has no mids, only lots of bass and treble. I got an exact copy of his tone on my Kustom 1300 and a Behringer Bass V-Amp. An active bass sure helps too.
I have a 305. turn off your mid range, you just need a little gain and down tune your bass a full step. Feildy is really easy to cover once you figure out his sloppy style of muting, slapping, strumming and plucking.

All of Fieldy's slaps are on the A string on 0 and 1st fret it gets kinda old when people do covers and for future reference mute more because it sounds better (more like the original) and raise your bass up you look like a clown and its a lot harder to play the lower strings with the bass straight up and all that low.
I think it's a bit lame, because Fieldy just Slaps his H and E String ... There are probably better Bass Guy's out there ... please don't hate me for that but I think so .... but not bad ;)

dude i know what your trying to get at by tuning it lower but thats not the correct tuning and you know that. all you need is the right tools bro but here is one thing i can suggest to you. First buy yourself a Sans Amp petal. The color is Black and has yellow writing on it. once you get the pedal you will find that the presence & blend features will get you pretty close to the sound. the rest will be your rig dude. the pedal goes for $180 at guitar center. order online bro. hope that help

Holding your bass like that is the perfect way to decrease the functionality of your bass and any respect you might get from peer musicians: what a great idea.

dude you could play this so much better if you raise your bass. It is not cool to have it that low. Also, if you learn the right way to slap it would be more crisp and you wouldnt have to move your wrist as much, iknow it has to hurt after awhile.

Realistically, anyone who is impressed by this must admit they know very little about music. L know I'm gonna get loadsa defensive replies, but come on, the whole song is 2 riffs on one string! It only uses the same 3 frets as well. Now, I'm not saying fieldy is a bad bassist, but he is incredibly lazy when it comes to writing what he plays.

Hey man, i liked but...u missed some notes. Try to hear the song right man. Im not dissin' you, but i know that u missed some notes, just hear the bass more carefully. And please, turn the Lower channel down, it's too low, im missing some brigth and some medium channel. Peace keep on playin'.

Holding your bass like that is the perfect way to decrease the functionality of your bass and any respect you might get from peer musicians: what a great idea.
Oh, and I'd like to mention that this guy isn't even a good bass player. I would say that I could blow him out of the water, but then that would be like comparing my sex drive to that of a seven year old boy. Plus you can't even hear him in any of korn's songs.
(Oh, and korn is shitty band anyway, so who cares.)
