Well the touch screen aperture and shuttle speed setting is more or less a gimmick, but the AF touch screen aspect might actually serve some purpose. The auto track AF could be useful for taking pictures of subjects that are off-centered. It's pretty good implementation of touch screen for AF I must say. Curious to see how the results turn out.

I have the Lumix FX500 and I find useful everything the tough panel offers. Its not a problem of what it is there for, but why aren't the other features implemented?
