This video says The Witches with Nick Cave in "1995"...it's overwhelming and cool to hear nick sing this song at age 38...when he first sang it when he was 21. I never thought he'd ever sing this song again. Awesome cover by the way.

i happened upon this clip by accident, looking 4 clips from cronenberg's movie "shivers" of the same name. the singer's deadpan voice goes well with nick cave's- but her accent bothers me. where are they from- the witches? good guitars and lyrics, too.

They are (were) from Israel. The lead singer Inbal Perlmutter was killed in a car crash sometime in the late 90's. I think she was on the way to perform that night.
