The NAACP isn't all-Black. The Nation of Islam is a religious group; not a sociopolitical arm. La Raza includes too many different races for you to summarily categorize them that way. The Black Panther Party doesn't even exist anymore.
I'm black and I think organizations like the NAACP, Black Panther Party and La Raza were useful back in the day but I think as racial equality is becoming more and more of a reality they're becoming less necessary. I think they'll be phased out in a couple of generations.

As a white person, i think an all-white basketball league is very condescending and stupid. And just like any other all-white organizations, i think the NAACP, Black Panther Party, Nation of Islam, La Raza, any another organization like that are all stupid and racist.

black panther party had both white and black members and actually spoke out about all forms of racism now of course there where members who didn't like whit people but the black panther leadership realized that they had to have to support of all people if they wanted their cause to be successful

The NAACP isn't all-Black. The Nation of Islam is a religious group; not a sociopolitical arm. La Raza includes too many different races for you to summarily categorize them that way. The Black Panther Party doesn't even exist anymore.

I'm black and I think organizations like the NAACP, Black Panther Party and La Raza were useful back in the day but I think as racial equality is becoming more and more of a reality they're becoming less necessary. I think they'll be phased out in a couple of generations.
I'm not a fan of the NOI but the original Black Panther Party had some white members. Most branched off and formed their own "White Panther Party". The New Black Panther Party is indeed racist though (and also right-wing).

But the reason you feel good is that you werent always well known, you are now coming to fame (or atleast in my mind) if you are getting the big reporters attention and they are listening to you, then you have every right to be excited because your voice is being heard and brought into the mainstream
