@emp567 Actually, she finds an eighteen year old boy. The song is a subtle stab at the narrow views of religion and morality - i.e. the Christians "Who would go to church but leave me on the street" and who envied how well she ran her business, but is also a reminder of the strength of love - "She died knowing that I really loved her". Country songs can have a lot of meaning if you try to understand the lyrics.

And a side-note: Bed of Roses is also english slang for leading an easy life.
