@mustangirlie121 jack russels are dumb as butt and blue heelers are not tht smart either i have a border collie and he understands everything i say he learned sit the first day we got him in 2 mins when we had him he learned over 10 tricks in 3 months border collies are the smartest breed ask any vet
wow... That was an accident! dogs dont have such good sighting same thing happened to my jackrussel blue heeler mix! shes AMAZINGLY smart.. SMARTER THAN ANY BORDER COLLIE she can be like the amazing skidboot... she turned a corner and ran into my friend's knee
Wow, people are getting hyped over nothing. You're telling these people they're bad owners even though they clearly know this breed of dog needs a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. Seriously guys, the only idiots here are you. Stop shouting at good owners just because they laughed, and actually tackle people who REALLY DO abuse their animals.
@Kittywhiskers1000 You are so right. I work in an animal shelter and we have 3 collies that may never be rehomed because of the abuse and cruelty they suffered at the hands of our retarded and inbred farmers. Collies need a lot of stimulation and excercise and the fact that these people set up an agility course for their dog shows they are good owners. Collies are the best breed (in my opinion).
@AZUREGLIDE I agree. When I have the time, I'm most certainly going to get a Border Collie for a companion. A lot of people don't realize the amount of their time they have to give to this breed of dog to prevent it from becoming stressed, and developing bad behaviours through boredom. It's this lack of research which lands a lot of dogs in animal shelters. If I could, I would most certainly home one of those border collies you mentioned. What abnormal behaviours are they displaying?
@Kittywhiskers1000 When my last dog was young I walked him 2 & a half hours a day and played ball etc with him. I have a 9 yr old collie x rescue now & an hour is all she needs but has a huge herding instict! The dogs we have can show aggression & bite people under certain circumstances. They have psychological problems because of cruelty. If you get a dog I urge you to go to a shelter or pound. Take some time and get to know the dog first.Think of an older dog too, they can be ignored. Cheers!
comon guys this dogs clearly inteligent and i don't think the owner is a bad owner either its not like she's chaining him up. Everyone says dog is a member of a family, if i saw my sister run into some padding i'd laugh, so long as shes not injured
Well come on peeps, Dogs are (mostly) color blind... if the shadows were right he could easy mistake where the entance was... He obviously knew what he was trying to do.
those who make comments here like "let him just be a pet" or "poor dog" are idiots!!! BC are not just pets, they are and they WANT to be working dogs!!! they are extremely energetic and smart, if you dnt give them a job to do they will go crazy and drive you crazy too!!! theyd rather to do all your job for you than have you pating and snuggle them.
XD people who comment on this video saying "poor dog" and "bad training" make me laugh more then the video itself. The dog is not hurt and the handler did nothing wrong. I am glad to see someone doing something with their BC. They are too smart to just be pets.
The reason the dog ran into the tunnel is probably because its dark color made it harder for the dog to see the opening.
Horrible?! The only thing better than an obstacle course for a Border Collie is a farm and a flock of sheep. So he bumped his head, big deal. The dog clearly wasn't hurt by it.
Man border collies are trained to work all day everyday...they're not like every other dog, they want to work. They need both physical and mental exercise each day, or else they get bored and they'll have very strange behaviours. Sure it's not meant to be a pet to laugh at, but it needs to exercise it has loads of energy.
im a dog trainer and dat was totally the owners fault!!! u dont just point! u have 2 get down low and act sooo excited! the poor dog!!!!!! u guys need 2 work on dat!!
BC´s have the ability to be very intelligent dogs, but they need intelligent owners to get there. This dog seems to be left with no help at all...poor dog
Dude-thts sorts funny but now that I watch it again the dumb trainer needs to fallow te dog, ITS AGILITY!!!!!!! That wouldn't have happeened if u wouldn't have just stood there

Just let him be a dog. Its a family member, not a thing of show or amusement. If you think differently. Don't own a dog!
