I'm all for a beautiful city in beautiful surroundings where the people of that city regardless of race or background appreciate that beauty and support the arts. Maybe I'll visit Spokane someday! I'm Oklahoman, too, Oklahoma City area. Would I be correct in saying that although Seattle doesn't get much snow, Spokane gets a ton of it every year?
@IrisMG yes, seattle typically gets less snow in the winter than spokane from what i understand. but seattle also tends to have more rain and is usually more overcast in general.
@Ssddftw Is Spokane a expensive place to live & hard to find work, was the reason u had financial problems? Not that it's any of my business... but I was just wondering was it those two reasons? I live in So.Florida, btw.

I moved to Spokane in 1986, and have lived there ever since. I am now in Ohio, and hope to move back as soon as I can. It is the best city to live in by far. The people are friendly, the weather is nice, and there is always something to do there. I miss Spokane so much, and I thank you for posting this video. Makes me feel like I'm not so far from home.
@RoughRider757 If you really want to experience racism just come to the Deep South.racism exists all over the U.S. but the Deep South has a serious issues with it.
Don't forget that the southern states is where slavery took place and where white folks used to put up these signs that read "for white" "for colored"
i was born in spokane and moved as a baby and moved back when i was 12 i lived there till i was 17 then i moved to the tri cities then moved back when i was 18 i love spokane i have since moved went to iraq and back and everytime i see spokane i feel at home i am at peace when im at one of its many parks my favorite place of course was the dishman hills
i just want to say thanks for doing this.. im a VERY homesick soldier in iraq and im very thankful for your video! you got a lot of pictures of the places i love the most i cant wait to get home! thanks again!
I haven't lived in Spokane for almost 15 years but I grew up in this amazing city. I worked at Riverfront park every summer for 7 years. I miss it terribly.

@IrisMG Spokane gets an average amount of snow. Some winters have been better than others.... just like any other winter in any other city.

overall it is safe. it's like any city though... it does have unsafe people and racist people. but the vast majority are not.
