  • This was on May 6th and they "successfully?" capped this?

Ha. They got 3 leaks it is July 15th, 2010 and Seafloor Fracture. Funny how they can spin this for this long. BP is Bankrupt and all the criminals should be tarred and feathered.

  • Way to go BP! Don't let Obama and the liberal scum of this country distract you!

  • SEARCH "BP Rap" on youtube to find my video about the leak, its good stuff!

  • Were part of that food chain if they don't fix it fish will die than with the lack of fish sharks or anything else that eats fish will die. after that our oceans will be contaminated and we will never be able to go in the ocean again. a lot of people say it will take 2 months. well what if it doesn't. what if it never gets fixed. what if its the destroyer of marine life as we know it. don't forget that some birds also eat fish. with no food they'll start eating garbage. soon our world will be...

  • da end tymes,,,,n on third of the waters will turn to blood,,,,please excuse my lack of religious interest,,,,,n da sea creatures will die n a whole of lots of other things tht looks like this spilll,,,da tyme is near,,,,,repent,,,,

  • there actually was 3 leaks and its been cut down to 1 now 2 leakes were beside each other an then eventually joined into 1 witch is the blown out well that they cant seem to fix

  • @3ricwoods please everyone nikola teslas wireless energy could have saved us from this 100 yrs ago! please look it up, i even put up information on my youtube to wake up everyone! time to build it and get over this dependence. please wake up! nikola tesla tried to warn us 100 yrs ago! look up "increasing human energy" by nikola tesla. its a brillant piece of work he wrote for you! start learning wireless power now before it happens again!!we can easily ween off oil quite fast if we build it US

  • @nafreehc Planetresource(dot)net has a Eco friendly solution to clean up the tragedy British Petroleum has created

One person can still make a difference in this world, is that simple interactions have a rippling effect. Each time this gets pass along, the hope in cleaning our planet is passed on .watch the youtube video title "COMPLETE CLEAN UP OF THE GULF SPILL"

  • theres one leak faggot

  • Wow...a severe ecological disaster at hand and people on youtube are arguing about what BP means or doesn't mean...

  • is this oil is illegally immigrating into the U.S.? ... vote at theeducatedamerican com

  • Imagine the world concern if this ecological disaster had been caused by Russia or China... In fact imagine if the company behind this was not british or American, the whole world would be comdanning it 20 times more, but wait, arent the British and the Americans the best in the world? The most competitive, and skilled people around?

You can hide all the war crimes you have committed in the last 60 years and keep going to war for good reasons dont you? This time it didnt work . We ve all seen.

  • @hypnomagick Got nothing to do with the British. Do you not watch the news.

  • @kris120890 what does bp stand for?

  • @hypnomagick Doesn't stand for anything.

  • @kris120890 You wish it didn't. get a life little brit!

  • @hypnomagick I know it doesn't. You've been proven wrong. Get an education and then keep up on world affairs.

  • @kris120890 by who? I have an education, and I m up on world affairs too. Who are you??? Get real BP is a British global energy company which is the third largest energy company and the fourth largest company in the world. As a multinational oil company BP is the UK's largest corporation, with its headquarters in St James's, City of Westminster, London

  • @hypnomagick Well done. You can copy and paste.

  • @kris120890 bet you are so educated that you cant even do that. you are pathetic, you are changing topic because you are just a loser. I bet you face looks like an ass too!

  • @hypnomagick No. I'm so educated I already knew it. That means I don't need to go and copy and paste. I haven't changed the topic.

In fact you've just done it yourself. You're a moron and a hypocrite. I'll give you a couple of minutes to realise you've just made yourself look stupid.

  • @kris120890 if you already knew it, why did you provoke me telling me that bp stands for nothing in the first place? Why? You just enjoy provoking people then.

    What a hobby!

  • @hypnomagick You just looking for an argument. You asked a question. I then answered it. If you're not looking for argument then why did you say 'You wish it didn't. get a life little brit!'. So who was provoking who and who was starting the argument.

    P.S. The answer is you.

  • @kris120890 you pissed me off by insisting that BP stands for nothing when you know well what it stands for. What was the point of saying that 3 times? this is what pissed me off. however, i ve had enough of you, keep your ideas and feel innocent. your country after all is innocent on all levels...and never makes mistakes, so thats fine. I m out. you win!! You are N1.

  • @hypnomagick BP Does stand for nothing. So after all that you still missed my point of BP not standing for anything. BP is called BP. They haven't been called British petroleum for 10 years. They are no longer a British company so they can't be called British Petroleum. You've also just proved you copied and pasted without reading your whole source. Probably wikipedia.

  • @kris120890 You are N1. I told you, you win, you are superior, you know your stuff in detail. Tipical english. The best, i ve already told you, why do you continue. I m uneducated. You are simply the best! period. Again you are innocent on all levels. you free the world from evil, how could you possibly make a mistake of any kind. And as you said BP means nothing. It never did. Cool I m amazed by you and your intelligence. Thank you so much for the lesson. You win. Bye Bye!!!

  • @hypnomagick cant believe you just gave up like a little bitch.

  • @hypnomagick How does it feel being a virgin at your age?

  • @ZackySorrows how does it feel to be into shit music? how does it feel to be from the most boring country on earth??

I can tell the level of boredom you must be going through...lol...lol

  • @hypnomagick I'm sorry I can't hear you over the sound of my free health care and the non-obese children playing outside. I also can't hear you over this fucking blare I call a song xD

  • @ZackySorrows i bet you can whih all there is to do on a canadian sunday.... lol

  • @ZackySorrows i'm glad your free healthcare is causing healthy people to pay for unhealthy lazy no working people as well :)

  • @kris120890 it's youtube. Arguing is like winning gold in the special Olympics; no one gives a shit.

  • Safe fast deep plug: Get BOP clear or gone. Iron billet 12,000 lbs 14inch diam 20' long on 3 mile cable. Descend to impermeable layer, add 3000' stack 14inch iron, first 200' must be debris-maker glued-up low yield grenades. Detonate. Debris achieves plug, stack achieves counter pressure. Please disseminate to engineers worldwide.

  • i bet the dolphins could help!!!!

  • why dont they stuff the hole with abunch of blow up dolls

  • At this time the wont to cut of the top of the well casing. if the do the need to build a large heavey Plastic Slam Plug. They can use the drill string as the weight to slam the Plug into the top of the well. Once the plug seal's the flow of oil. they need toleave the heavy pipe on the plug. hook up to the BOP again and pump the kill mud to be Able to cement the well up. See my design @ youtube type in randybigmac for my home page.

  • whatever. oil is going from one place to another. see how much i care

  • @mosh0r Yeah, obviously, you must. Your on here reading abou it. I bet you wouldn't like to be one of the animals out their in that right now would you?!

  • Horrible

  • I don't think their next atempt will stop oil from gushing into the sea!

  • seems like the best parts were edited out.

  • they should shut it with an Implotion or freeze with nitrogene

  • Underwater torque wrench, that is awesome...

But this 3rd leak was a drop in the bucket, look how puny it was compared to the other.

Shoving that tube over it was cool, so was the wrench socking it down tight.

  • Take a 2 liter bottle of Mountain Dew... shake the crap out of it... open it. Now try to put the cap back on while it's erupting. That is what we are dealing with, except with much, much more pressure.

  • Terrific, now the capped off area will just bump up the pressure to the other two leaks thereby increasing their flow making up exactly what was "capped off" !

    Aint life a bitch?

  • Punish with your money and boycott BP Convenience Stores

  • they dont want to stop it, they want to SAVE it! bastards.

  • why dont they drop a long cylinder down with no top or bottom extend it out the water in the air and suck all the oil out???

  • @rgriffith1111 they tried tht already

  • @rgriffith1111 because its in 5000ft of water.....

  • Capping the pipeline leaks doesn't do anything to stop the oil from spilling out. You cap one leak and the oil moves down the next leak. Cap all leaks in the pipe and oil is still coming out the end of the pipe.

Like a garden hose with holes in it. By fixing the holes you cause the water to come out the end faster. You don't actually reduce the amount of water coming out of the hose. You just divert it to a different location and increase the water pressure.

  • @AClRCLEOFLlGHT : Even if they cap all the leaks, they can't cap the end. There's too much pressure. And every small cap they put on, they just increase the flow out of the end of the pipe. So they pretend like they're doing something, when in actuality they're doing nothing. Ridiculous!

  • Estimates are that this could be spewing as much as 4,200,000 gallons per day.

If anyone still thinks this won't be worse than the Valdez spill than their brain is as oxgyen-deprived as the fish around this spill.

  • This will not be turned off anytime soon.

    Worst environmental disaster.

  • @circusboy90210

    ...

    -_-

  • 1 sec ago were is all the you tube videos of all the damage

  • circusboy90210: your friends, if you have any, may be impressed by ludicrous arguments backed up with ridiculous assertions. We are not your dimwitted friends (thankfully). Now turn off mommy's computer and go find an adult for your spanking.

  • @tuique your attempts at offensive humor are ludicrus as my friends make bio diesel, are petrochemical engineers, contracters for dod, computer engineers, mechanical engineers, and many other disciplines. I have friends all over the world from my days' traveling all over USA and Canada. I drove limousine in Las Vegas and met many different major ceos and picked their brains whenver socially allowable. most people who resort to insults have no leg to stand on. so read a book or 3,000 like I have

  • @circusboy90210 Wow, you drove a car in Las Vegas. No, wait! You "drove limousine". Well pardon me! I had no idea your credentials were so impressive. I retract all my statements sir, and offer an unconditional apology. Now explain again how earthquakes can be prevented with sheep's bladders...

  • @tuique not that I need to impress you but I drove all types of vehicles in sin city, 40+ passenger hummers, esclalade etc. However your probably more expert in the sheep bladder technology area than I. My status as driver at the time does not detract from the level of information garnered from being around engineers from many different company's whilst shuttling them all around the city. so go play with your toys little boy and don't pee in bed when you have night mares about oilboogymen.

  • @circusboy90210 I'm more expert than you across lots of technology, including spillrate estimates. Like, I know the diff between gallons & barrels. My credentials? I pulled a rickshaw around Toronto and talked with all the experts I met on the job! PHDs! CEOs!

Let's focus on your ridiculous argument. BP EXECUTIVES TESTIFIED BEFORE CONGRESS THAT THE FLOW RATE IS AROUND 60000 BARRELS PER DAY. Where does your 5000 GALLONS come from again? One of your drunk tourists who claims to be an engineer?

  • @tuique what I've done for a living has nothing to do with my thirst for knowledge. if you read , I stated my mistake meant barrels not gallons. however I have a friend who is a chemical engineer (worked in nola oil fields), and another who is a phd geologist we talk about things for hours on end so I do know a few things that laypeople don't. I have also read a book or two in my life. I'm not perfect and make mistakes I do have a life too. please link to this testimony b4 congress thank you.

  • @circusboy90210 p.s. this is not a pissing contest to see who is smarter. this is a sort of forum to exchange ideas and disseminate knowledge. don't be so adversarial. everybody has there own viewpoints , a person convinced against the will is of the same opinion still. I have spent many years in research library's and coffee shops discussing many things with people who are in industry . I also have a very critical mind , & bs meter. I assure you I'm no dummy even though I clown around alot. :P

  • @circusboy90210 There's a huge difference between reading a book, and being able to analyze and interpret a book. And I doubt you've read 3,000.

  • @Stetz1010 this is true and I have very critical thinking skills and a very fine tuned bullshit meter. but yes I do read alot a whole lot more than I care to try and read again. I hang out at bookstores and research library's for day's on end. so I've probably read even more than that. I'm self employed so I can do what I want when I want.

  • They should have nuked it the first day. How they expect to fix it a fucking mile underwater.

  • ,,what will nuking do ?

  • @CreativeCritisizm The Russians used nukes to seal oil leaks before, and it worked 4 out of 5 times I believe.

  • no big deal? a few fish and animal life? ARE YOU STUPID?! 75% of our shrimp comes from this area, and now all those people lost their jobs. No big deal? were in almost theree weeks and they still havent fixed this problem. no big deal? what about all the gas prices going up like crazy due to this? No big deal? youre a retard.

  • @MsPrincessxx163

    I guess, long vacation, eh?

Americans are not famous for it anyway!

    Work slaves!

  • @MsPrincessxx163

Your right on a few of these issues.

    Globally, not very significant though.

A few fishermen loosing thier jobs and going without shrimp on my salad isnt catastrophic.

  • @24preacherboy That's probably one of the biggest understatements on this entire forum. The glabal impact will be very significant, it's already said to be close to flowing into the Atlantic.

  • I had no idea how retarded Americans were, until this happened...

  • @LuisTheComrade Where have you been, under a rock? lol

  • you stupid yanks went to war for oil now you got it its called karma !!!!

  • @ylad1999 if the us went to war for cheap oil were is it?

  • please someone explain it to me, what i dont understand is how cant they stop this leekage, why cant they make a tap or something to block the pipe, we dont have the technology? too much pressure? what? I still dont get the fact that whay are we watching these natural resources pouring out and mixing in to the ocean, someone who knows the answer please explain it to me. Thank u

  • @okyat

Well, it's a combination of atmospheric pressure, distance from shore, water temperature and also the FLOW PRESSURE (flow volume isn't as important) coming out of that pipe. You can bet that it's not staying uncapped because BP is lazy, since a cap on that pipe would be about the best business investment they could make right now, they are taking heat all over the world, countries are backing out of contracts en masse.

  • @bradmanthethird OK, thank u for explaining

  • there is no real disaster there have been other leaks like this before. this is alarmism and fearmongering at it's worse to demonize oil.

  • @circusboy90210 No it's not like oil will harm the ocean life, and its not like it's the biggest oil spill in history. No big deal at all

  • @joshrumor2121 yes it will kill a few fish bird fauna etc. but it's not the big deal the media is portraying it to be. there have been far worse and they never got this much attention is the point. 5,000 gallons/day = about 200 gallons per hour= about 35 gallons per minute I would be willing to bet that colletivly the natural leaks in the area of the gulf put out that much every day. what I'm saying is that people should look past the hyperbole and think for themselves ,not eating prechewed food

  • @circusboy90210 this list will show you that there have been worse spills in recent history that did not get attention. in this article you will see that depending on estimates (also shows you how to estimate volume . which is not very well used by the media. ) the gulf of mexico spill does not even come close to even being on the list or is very low on the list of worst spills ever. this is classic fearmongering.

  • @circusboy90210 typo meant barrels. sheesh some people do have a life and have other thing to concern themselves with like making a living. get a job people

  • @circusboy90210 This is not the peanut gallery son. Your 5000 gallon a day theory fails the five foot wide pipe that is currently gushing a low estimate of 210,000 gallons per day into the Gulf of Mexico. Emergency meetings have been called because that low estimate may rise as high as 2.5 million gallons of sweet crude oil gushing into the Gulf every twenty four hours from this one pipe. Please research before speaking.

  • @EuroUS9 permisso, seeing as I do have a life and follow many different issues, I wish you could edit your statements . 5,00 barrel/day. however exon Valdez was something like 10.8 million gallons. this is still not even as big as that event. the Valdez spill as much publicity as it received and as bad as it was for Alaskan wildlife and waters is still not in the top ten. I do research and fact check sir. this is a political witch hunt.

  • @circusboy90210 5000 gallons a day? Really? LOL! Have you seen the leak? Guess not.

  • you aint seen nothin yet ..just wait until these BP keystone cops arew done..there wont be any life in the gulf for 200 years !!!

  • this is false ..to humour idiots ..of course BP thinks everybody are idiots...and ..you know they are probably not too far off the mark..A bunch of blokes ruining the entire southern coast of the us and no one yet has intervened lol..this is what movies are made of LOL LOL

  • This is fake. It was obviously filmed in a swimming pool. Say goodbye to the fish and say hello to the Gulf of Mexico Tarpits.

  • Click on my title for my musical comment.!!!!

  • : The Dwarves dug too greedily and too deep. You know what they awoke in the darkness - Shadow and Flame. . Our Mother Earth lays STRICKEN at the hands of our Greedy Bankster Elite and their swollen pig-bellies dragging on the floor! . When will we RISE FOR REVOLUTION? We are in the FINAL HOUR. YOU BETTER WAKE UP TO THE NEW WORLD ORDER AND THEIR AGENDA OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION. . WORLD PATRIOTS PREVAIL.
  • @KASPLARFO LOMFAO ROFL at the dwarfs bit

  • @KASPLARFO jeez your dramatic

  • Anybody else know about SOYLENT GREEN. Did you really think that movie was just science fiction. It was a statement and nobody got it. Well here you are boys and girls. They WILL kill the oceans and eveything you eat will be produced synthetically and processed in factories. When the oceans die the entire biosphere follows like dominoes falling. The corporations get rich and we end up eating Soylent Green while they make billions and live in their guarded communities.

  • @gladiamnotyou Not forgetting that the O2 we breathe doesnt come from trees. They do produce O2, but what they produce during the day they consume during the night. It all comes from salt water algae, when they make photosynthesis. Photosynthesis is the process of producing energy with the sun's light and that's the process that's responsible for algae producing O2, but if the oceans are covered with oil, sunlight doesnt get to the algae, they dont make photosynthesis, therefore no O2 and we die

  • Is this a Triton XLS?

  • Years? Why?

  • Where is the bown platform?

North Korean zappers made sure the platform is on top of the leaks and will take month if no years to plug it.

    Where is the blown Platform?

  • Maybe a champagne cork would help? ;-\

  • Or a large metal screw with a rubber stopper and screw on cap at the end. How much trouble would that be?

  • @Bitbyte00 No kidding; anything would be preferable to this. Didn't have some kind of responsible contingency plan that would definitely contain any potential leak. This is why I'm so skeptical when anyone is referred to as, or worse yet, refers to themselves as, any kind of 'professional' or 'expert' of anything. Mostly all these kinds of people do is 'profess' this or that, but when it counts, what really happens? This kind of BS, and then they all try to pass the buck.

  • This is a good video showing how serious BP works on the problem thousands of meter under the sea..

  • The bubbles are gas from the formation where the oil is located. They are there whether the well is fucked up or not. And the equipment looks used because it is used. It was new when it was installed -- but its been in operation for a long time, underwater. It is good equipment. I know people that work on that rig and I'm a petroleum engineer.

  • The equipment looks used, where are those bubbles coming from? It appears to be a professional shoot but the black leaves of whatever and the bubbles almost a mile underwater promote the doubt towards reality.

  • the bubbles are from the oil well. In the underground pool of oil there is also natural gas. Some of that gas gets into the pipe once it is fucked up.
