What does it matter about the bigger the dog the shorter the lifespan? I rescued a great Dane at least he will live a good life!

He was measured at his neck and this video proves it at 0:11 however at withers he's a good 4 inches smaller.

the bigger the dog the shorter the lifespan. on average great danes only live till about 7 or 8. i would hate that.
