i just got a chihuahua and the first time i got to see her she had opened her eyes the day before. she was soo cute, she looked a little drunk though, since her eyes would just wander everywhere lol

@maduixa023 I dont think this is a correct respons to a cute video. Its not like she took the puppy and never gave it back or killed it or whatnok. She just wanted to spread the puppy-cuteness. Ofcause the mother wants the pup, but hey - its not like the mother is aggressively trying to bite or kill the human to get the baby. It could have barked because of a noise too. That is what pisses me off.

There are a lot of videos in youtube like this, and it's like, damn, can't you just respect the animals and their little babies and just leave them in peace?? Can't you just wait till the baby is a little bit more grown up to do this?? Is it much to ask for?? In mi opinion they're behaving like morons. That's all I meant.

@maduixa023 It is suggested brand new puppies be handled daily beginning about the first week after birth to acclimate them to human interaction. Breeders know this as do vets. The person in the video is conditioning the puppy to give it the best chance to interact well with people.

All but one of the five small dogs I have had over the years ( three of them Chihuahuas ) all but one, a Pomeranian, preferred to be cradled in my arm like a baby about half the time I carried them around. I think it depends on the dog.
