Yes this interpretation is Awesome!!!....the best non violin performance....(other than Scott on the viola but this doesn't count...his viola is better than many of the violin interpretations)....This is much better than the cellos, and all of the guitars, ALL of which are ponderous after hearing this....Thanks Hopkinson....

@Sojourn6 you couldn't have put it better. really, in my humble opinion this interpretation is the most simple, balanced, profound and integral out of any other transcription/interpretation in any other instrument i've heard, apart from the original composed for violin, and interpretations for it. Studying the chaconne on classical guitar, this interpretation is my point of reference, along with the violin manuscript and various interpretations on violin.
