For instance, in the recording, the music sounded a little different, and in the video, the camera spun a lot and did crazy things like changing back and forth from one guy to another really fast.

The best part about this song is everything that makes me dislike it. The more I have listened to this, while I can certainly appreciate it, I notice it is remarkably incongruous with other Animal Collective material. The lyrics are unforgivably absurd. The noise is so offensive that it momentarily crosses the border that they had previously been able to pull off without crossing. However, I have the feeling this is all intentional. Strawberry Jam is their offensive adolescent masterpiece.

I love Animal Collective and so many other indie bands. But I just can't stand most indie fans. Is there seriously nobody dancing in that crowd? How could you be standing still at an Animal Collective concert. I know they show some people dancing, but when they show a whole shot of the crowd everyone is still. AC deserve better fans that actually like their music because its creative, catchy and danceable all at the same time, not because pitchfork tells them its good.
