Yeah Reloaded is definitely the most entertaining of the 3. Revolutions was lacking "Matrix" stuff. It was almost entirely in the real world.

I think alot of people hate on the 3rd one because it doesn't wrap everything up in a neat package for them. Feels like there is a lot left unexplained but if you think about it a lot, it can be explained in all different ways, which is what they wanted, a movie that can be interpreted in many ways.

In my mind the first matrix film was a masterpiece. Reloaded was excellent too. It really blew me away.

I liked Revolutions for the most part. But... the reason why it didn't click with me as much as the first two is because they pulled the plug and the whole thing. I wanted to stay in wonderland.

People were pissed off that the 3rd movie didn't involve much of the Matrix, when in fact the Matrix was never meant to be seen as center of the films. At the center of the story was the man-Machine war. People seem to overlook that.

I always felt Reloaded is the most entertaining of the three, even though it doesn't entirely work narratively. Since there wasn't neccessarily a sequel planned when they made the first one, they had to stretch to make the others work with a stand-alone film. Still, Reloaded moves fast and it has really grand ideas, like Reeves is saying here.

actually the wachsowky brothers did design the script as a trilogy from the beginning on. And when you look at the philosophical side of the matrix, reloaded and revolutions have had a lot to tell. Like in terms of free will and determination e.g. Smith and Neo and their corelation.

Having met Keanu in Atlanta, I can tell you that he's a genuinely nice guy and the whole point of making/viewing movies, for me, is the whole escape from realism aspect .... Keanu helps me with my escapism, in ANY film he's in! 2 Hours of staring at him is awesome.
