i hvae the big yellow one, the purple one, and the orange one, made a combiner form them, had it for five years and the sacrificed it for the greater good (MOC's), just took the last pieces apart

These sets where the ''bomb'' before Bionicles just bad Lego won't do as they did with Rock Raiders and Lego Pirates: remake them.

(for a fact Power Miners is a remake off Rock Raiders, one of my favorites lego's)

damn, i wanted to review them XD but i never get around doing any reviews... but from the trailer there are missing sets ...

and personally Slizer sounds better (i'm European ), for me "ThrowBot" sounds like a type of Transformer

I keep looking at pictures of these guys, but I just don't see what makes them so über-awesome. Maybe it's just that I'm used to Bionicle's more... "advanced" builds and aesthetics. Then again, I did find them cool when they came out and always wanted to have one.

Perhaps your reviews will make me understand their awesomeness better. I've ordered a used but complete set already, but the shipping is taking so damn long.

@leesiyin In Europe they were referred to as Slizer, but the official name (and American name) was THROWBOTS.

@LegomationStudio the name "Throwbot" is not more official than the name: "Slizer".. its actually only in america its called Throwbots, but the Slizer name is used in both Europe and Australia.. and btw LEGO comes from Europe, so you can at least mention it.
