  • how'd you bust your arm bro?

  • Nice job.

  • i am sorry for that i just had to use all of the letters

  • just roll a bunch of it up and clip on a belt with a carabiner

  • just roll up a bunch of it and clip it to a belt loop with a carabiner that is what i would do

  • why not just put that cord inside your pack?

  • @biggershoesatbush lol...because this way it doesnt take up space inside of your pack maybe?

  • man how are you going to break brush with all those? you are going to stop every two minutes to pull thorns/stickers.

  • @rabidchevy I think you're underestimating how strong the rope is.

  • GREAT ADVICE! So you make the lanyard...and you are now stuck and need to use...how do you break down the cordage back into rope and what knots do you use?

  • @TrabahoSaCanada its super easy to untie. its called a "Cobra weave" Solomon bar" and "square knot" its no harder than tying your shoes

  • Brilliant idea! But do you have ideas for actual usage for extra cord? That would make a good vid too!

  • i love the idea of your videos, but the sound quality hurts!!

  • thankyou

  • plarn!

  • were u a boyscout?

  • yes i was

  • it makes since.. i am 2 and i luv ur pack

  • lmao...u cant smoke cordage

  • @AZIONEnchilada

no you really cant....well i guess you can but itll taste like shit and it wont get you anything not even a small buzz

hemp comes from the bottom of the cannabis plant and has not THC value what so ever.

so you my friend are a dumbass

  • I'm a bit confused. You are saying to use the hemp cord becuase it gives you more cordage if you take it apart? Wouldn't parachute cord be the better for the same reason?

  • the hemp cord i used can also be broke down further into the 3 stands that make up the larger thinker cord

  • Parachute cord has lots of strands, one exterior shell, 7 inner twists that untwisted become 14 strands, the exterior shell is rated at around 300 lbs, the inner twists at about 35 lbs, and untwisted at about 17.5. Seems you get more weight support with parachute cord, and more options with parachute cord.

  • ya..its wit i had tho & can still be used for small things...i doubt i'll be using it to repell...i can find a good vine for that....lol

  • I like the idea of replacing the zipper cords with paracord. Good idea.

  • thanks

  • what kind of backpack do you have?

  • PittRules55

I can't get a good look at it but it looks like a maxpidition falcon

  • he already said it was a cheap backpack with no name but thanks though

  • Great idea, super smart.

  • Thanks for the share!

  • what is wrong with your arm?

  • checkout my channel description!

  • 1/2 PARALYZED

  • That's Really a good idea. Im gonna check that link out and try to make some. Great vid man! Peace

  • def would wanna be lost with you! That's for sure!!!

  • Great idea I've made bracelets out of twine but they end up damaged from wear and tear from day to day activity. This seems like a more efficient way to store a back up supply of cordage.

  • absoluetly! it also helps when zipping & unzipping the zippers! i wouldn't wanna undo the zips all the time, but if you needed it, its there & very out of the way

  • Ok , I gotta ask. Is it illegal to have that on you in your area? lol

  • i don't understand? illegal to have wut? hemp twine? NO... if i thats wut u mean?

  • Yeah , I was referring to teh hemp twine.

  • No way! Hemp twine is commonly used as cordage. You can get it at any hobby store including Hoby Lobby. why would you think it would be illegal?

  • I didn't know it was so commonly available. thank you for the info.

  • Industrial hemp is illegal to grow in almost every state, and is a pain to get licensed to grow in the one, maybe two, states that it is legal in. It is, however, grown in just about every other country in the world, and it is perfectly legal to possess imported hemp fibers. Also, hemp clothing will probably outlive you, unlike that cheap cotton t-shirt you're wearing.
