great animation and all, but the only problem is that the conversations sound a little akward and odd like Vergil is really calm when Nexus runs in after randomly spouts out that he attacked the base. And if hes really strong, why does he need to fight him. All I'm saying is that you need to work on the dialouge a bit.

And question, the move he needs Dante to use, thats the one he uses at the end of season one right?

Actually the animation was very clean and smooth. I think by newer animations you are talking about things like that Mushroom Smash Collab which is alot of the face paced dbz fighting. Different people like different stuff. If every single ms vid had the same style it would get old really fast.

I think many people here love the actual animation and effects as they are very well done but the lack of depth into the story and interaction is a problem. Also I heavily believe people are tired of reading text and want voices. I think this is partially due to an over saturation in ms series and animations. After watching so many nothing seems special and people tire of seeing ms sprites that can only show so much emotion even with an F3 or F6. I have found a way to counter this. Stay Tuned!!

I like the transitions between maps (the blurring out). Effects are good as well. I wouldn't mind a better plot as some people have said. Also,in my opinion, character interactions could be better. The running sprite worked really well with Vergil and I think you should use them for the other characters as well. I don't think Nexus walking towards Vergil then releasing a barrage of attacks that is way faster than his walking speed is fluid. *shrugs* Just some opinions. Again, very nice job.

awesome! Sweet effects and the Nexus speech bar is pretty cool. only drawback is that when they walk they move too slowly, u need to think of a way to make them travel faster physically like by using a running sprite instead of walking sprite or something

keep in mind that the fight was less intense because it was more a test of strenght than a real fight. Neither Nexus nor Vergil wanted to kill each other. Just gauge how strong the other was.

Hey I feel no offense from what you said. This being the prequel I did not try to make it the best one but more to give it its own feel. Of course Vergil vs Nexus vergil would lose because he is not Sparda.Not really losing my styleI wanted something different but similiar to what the other revo's style was. I could have made the fight more intense but once again that was not the revo style.
