The Run is a bit less arcade than this one! In Hot Pursuit you can drift forever at 350 km/h. In my opinion that's not funny at all! =| I prefer games about race cars, not race boats! This is just my opinion. Both games are awesome in different ways, and this is the greatest think of EA: they make different games to suit all tastes! Imagine what it would be boring to always play the same game!

Idea for next Need for Speed with drivable police like this one. Make the police cars have different choosable decals (like the Sheriff from the Camaro, POLICE from the Crown Vic and Highway Patrol from all the Aston Martins) all for each one car. And I loved the ELS but I think you could take it farther with customizable police cars where you choose whether to have a lightbar or dashlight, the positions, colors etc and optional regular, wrap around or no pushbar. I would definetly buy it.

I know how you can't compare different styles of game and everyone has their preferences, but even after factoring that in....well most want wanted still remains the best ifs game of all time. I know a lot of people are saying Underground #X, and it's very close but hot pursuit is not quite there with most wanted. Although it's an excellent game and I can finally be a cop, which I wanted for so long. But despite that I miss NFS so much, the storyline, blacklists, customization.

I love the slightly weird way this game depicts the cop chases... It's almost like it's an institution, something that's been worked out between the cops and the street racers and the cops are having just as much fun as the racers are. It would make sense given the plethora of weapons, the ability of racers TO DISABLE POLICE RADIOS and the fact that no one ever seems to get killed...

Good game but it isnt a proper NFS game, you cant buy cars, you cant customize and there isnt any proper free roaming with persuits, free roam races etc. You get cars by progresing through levels instead of buying them which i dont like. Good game but I wouldnt class it as a proper NFS game.
