The Jeeps use a variable load flasher - which means it is looking for a certain amount of amperage draw. By switching to LED's there is not enough resistance, so the flasher functions erradically. You'll have to use an LED with resistance - OR add an in line resistor (Radio Shack or something). Looks cool if you can get it figured out!

bro, im on jkforum as well, I want to order as well, but I want amber fronts and not switch-back, what bulb should I order from superbrightleds, I can order from them only and what would I need to convert my rear brake/turn and front park/turn signals to led with no problems fully?. what resistor etc... thank you in advance.. please reply ASAP..
my vleds switchbacks did the same thing on my 06 mazda 3, i had to return the bulbs because vled had no idea why it was doing it. def not only a jeep thing...so weird.
first off sweet jeep! Mine do exactly that! except my truck is a WJ Grand Cherokee. Maybe its a Jeep thing jaja...V-Leds has no idea whats happening so I guess they'll stay like that still someone finds a solution. Check out my video to see what mine look like.
Definitely, the computer keeps adjusting the flashing, since there is no flasher unit, it's entirely ECU controlled. After some time, now it flashed amber/nothing when the headlights are off, and amber/white when the headlights are on. It doesn't blink white randomly like in this video anymore.
Took about a few weeks for the computer to settle.
how do you think they would work if they were tinted
