VK is actually pretty morbid. It's full of unrequited/forbidden/tragic love and for her men, seemingly bottomless, unavoidable sadness, save the respite of Yuki's tenderness. Yeah, not too healthy. I had a VK marathon once and I went to sleep that night and had a strange dream. It was set in this 19th century five star hotel near my house and I was trying to get out . I started from the indoor pool to the seemingly endless and grandiose "shower/locker room" and it ended with me getting possessed

Lol, So I relate that to VK because it's really has that hopeless "possessed" kind of love going on in it. People fighting what they can't win against, and even worse it lives within their own bodies. D:

Lol, you guys, Yuki's life looks intense and romantic and shrouded in mystique, but I think if any one of us were her for a few days, we'd beg for it to be a tv soap (albeit a good one), or a bad dream rather than our reality. Kaname is right, they're living their lives fleeing the curse of violence and corruption in the vampire world, not to mention the tearing of Yuki's mind over two men her circumstances dictate that she either hate one or love the other. Just in case we're being serious :D

Every time I hear this piece of music I think of how Yuuki thought her love for Kaname was unrequited for so long *snorts*. Her love for her savior, prince. She really thought for a long time they wouldn't be together. How could she? She a human and he a pureblood prince, destined to be king of vampires. They where of different worlds. She honestly thought nothing would come from it even if Kaname liked her back. Owh poor Yuuki.

I know this may sound random, but does this song remind anyone of the PS2/Wii game The Dog Island? Because it instantly reminds me of when your brother/sister falls sick. Or when you go to the grave. I love this song, nonetheless. It makes me depressed, though I always am, so there's no difference!
