I'm not sure if you still have her or not, but I thought I may as well mention that sunflower seeds are fattening and shouldn't be fed in large amount- 3 or so a day at most. :)
@defunct32 Aww sorry to hear that. :( And nope, not Prada. Used to be 'Nini' but that was the name given by my dreaded ex, so I changed it to Gucci. But hey, not a bad idea... maybe if I get another female hamster, I'd call it Prada! ;D
@SueInfectious -- Lol it's actually my nephew's pet hamster, he didn't bothered w/ the hamsters much until the cage became ... you know "dirty" so I took the liberty to clean it up and care for it, I don't know what happened for them to die, one day they just stood still in one corner and refuse to leave the cage when I call for them, then the next day they just lie low never moved... :-\ I think I sucked @ caring for pets...

I had been so busy with work lately that I didn't really bother to take the time to clean up my hammie's cage. :/ It was until I actually realized that it started to look kinda dirty and that I feel bad for her having to live in such state. So I got around to buy her a new cage and voila! She looks much better and back to her usual active self now in her new home. Gonna take good care of her now... I think your nephew's hamster got old and died?
@SueInfectious -- Maybe so, sakit tua tak? Haha, but I did feed them weird things like bread pieces and some nuts -_- but they like it a lot, they very active at night always running on that circular wheel thing, I dunno what it's called, then when they do sleep, they sleep on top of one another, haha...
@defunct32 They usually just live up to 1-2 years old... I searched it up on Google. It's rare for them to live up to more than 2-3 years old... That could be why.
@cattly721 Then that's good! I mean, if you really took care of it very well, they can last longer. They can last up to 3.5 years... Maybe slightly longer, it depends.

@defunct32 Ya that's basically what hamsters do. Exercise, eat, sleep, family bonding. lol They're so cute when they cuddle up to one another...
