  • HELP!!!!!! in 8:50 did he say "to" twice????

  • Why is it 60-en no kitte instead of 60-en kitte. Do you place (no) between a noun and an adjective or not?

  • @jpopdancingkeyboard

Yes, you can place 'no' after a noun in order to make it act as an adjective.

In this case, 'no' is placed after '60 en' in order to make it act as an adjective for 'kitte'.

It is a 60-yen stamp, the 60-yen being a noun when used alone but an adjective when 'no' is placed after it.

  • Oh dear... 2:00

  • Nooo numerical words here too (I'm also learning chinese)

  • very helpful inserting the annotations dialog at the end :D thanks :) arigato :)

  • Sugihara annoys me =.=' i like kaiho cuz he's such a dainty man XDD

  • @TreesAreYourFriend haha i want to put Kaiho in my pocket! :D

  • This is what a real WTF moment feels like. WHAT?! Mai? And I was just beginning to feel comfortable and everything made sense... Here, punch you the gut!

  • We just seen this, watch online, just use google & search "FCDC MOVIES"

  • when asking to buy stamps for example is it better to to say Kitte wa arimas ka OR Kitte o kudasai?

  • @spagbog1q2w . kitte ga arimasu ka means "do you have stamps". "kitte o kudasai" means give me stamps.

  • Funny. The store is named "Mai Mai", and all the things you can buy in the store you count with the term -mai.

  • Damn it! I didn't understand at all, guess I'll haveto watch it 3 or 4 more times T.T

  • what does mai really mean in english? is it "bars", "pieces" or is there other?

  • ai43v3r : Do not translate it, it just emphazises how many chocolates you do want to buy.

  • Mai: Flat objects.

  • neither. Its used to count flat items like the plates, chocolate bars, and folded clothes in the skit

  • You could also use a more general term "-ko", which is nice for objects in general. It does look better if you say "-mai" for flat thin objects, but "-ko" can wrok just as well. Ikko, niko, sanko, etc. Just make sure you don't mix it up with the word "Ko" (子), which means child.

  • I am eight years older... :/

  • when is arigatou gozaimashita used?

  • when u give the thx 2 someone in a very polite way (=

  • you will use it with people that are not very familiar because is more polite.

  • Thank God you posted this on YouTube! The convenience of that status bar is helpful to repeat things you might've missed. :)

  • wat does mai mean!!

  • It's used at the end of a word to count it. One umbrella=ichi-mai kasa and so on, watch the episode again until you get it^^

  • I think mai is only used for counting flat objects

  • RLY!!! then if i want something with a triangular form wth i do... or is it just flatness and size what counts???

  • Actually I believe you put the mai AFTER the object you wish to purchase.

  • yeah sorry, see I still need to watch this again xD
