What I find most beautiful about the original music done by alexisonfire is the youth to it. It seems they hit their prime right away and made something for the ages at a very odd time in their lives.
@BooBooMcBad I agree. Their sound after this seems so much more forced. It took me a while to get into that first record, but once I did its been enjoying to listen to ever since. I can't say that about any of their other records, which is kind of sad actually. I can't see why they didn't produce more music with a lo-fi wibe like this.
