ok, because of your video, I did purchase the old Erika from Accordions Canada in Toronto. But they are going to restore it for me first. They had intended to keep in in their Museum section. Great playing, nice bass hand.
Glad to hear another Bb/Eb enthusiast. I've got a Liliput. Ukebert is spot on about the sound. Your playing also does the instrument justice; nicely varied, a bit like Tony Hall.
Steady with the haircuts, though, or you'll end up with a Foreign Legion "boule a zero".
Maybe I should recall your debt. I'll take the box if you want... Just kidding. That sound is so rich that my brain is going to mush. Notice that you still haven't quite got the B section of Trunkles, or I haven't, as you play it differently to me. If I'm honest I have no idea whether I play it right!
@veganchimp I did indeed! Tried it on the first Friday and fell hook line and sinker for it. He charged me a Liliput and £200 cash. Oh, where did you find the other one? What was it?
@olimandolin it is a hohner club II vicroria model it was in the music fair at sidmouth in pj music. aparently it was reduced because its was in e flat b flat and because the bellow pins dont work properly.
im so jealous of u cuz ive wanted that box since April
@veganchimp Ooh, lovely. I remember seeing it there, but didn't get round to trying it. I don't understand why people don't play more in Bb/Eb (well, I do...) as to me, it's the perfect key for a melodeon.
Sorry!! Unfortuantely, it's the way the cookie crumbles.

I really like this, so I'm trying to buy one from the local accordion shop, but they want to keep it as a museum piece...say a prayer for me!
