What i love about Nans work is people can try to produce feelings using photography by 'designing' what we see by interpretation. Nans work already has a story, none of it particularly staged...its what makes the simplicity of a message say so much, by just looking at the stories around her she makes her work complex. Her photographs encourage people to ask questions, and at times understand her work by understanding the people in them, its just great X
