Vets get housing allowance? LOL! yeah right! The last time I checked my husband who retired from the Navy is not receiving any housing allowance, except for retirement pay. Even the 20% disability isn't an extra amount on top of it... it's just that the 20% of the retirement pay is tax-free.

As a British 'vet', I find it insulting that Billo didn't mention the sacrifices and contribution of British troops in South Iraq and Afghanistan (also troops from the Netherlands), whilst failing also to mention that both Mccain and Bush are opposed to the GI Bill.
My support to US troops and veterans- they deserve better from the Bush administration. I also see that Fox still have not mentioned anything about O'Reilly's insulting remarks to the US homeless vet population.
