The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful, it's like they payed attention to every single pixel when making the render skins. Though, this comment feels a bit shallow just talking about the graphics. This is a fantastic game. A little too different for my taste in Castlevania games, but a beautiful game nonetheless. Except the voice acting that's just silly. But things without flaws are rare.

Twilight Princess is not a copy of OoT, it is, if anything, following a formula that has been used since Link to the Past, which you probably haven't played or turned down as being too silly (or being a copy of OoT as well, haha).

this is easily one of the best Castlevania games ever made, the fighting system was fantastic. Hell, they even aknowlege it in Lords of Shadow, which has a cameo by one of it's characters!

The main problem with Lament of Innocence is that there's just not enough variation with the levels. They should've cut down on the rooms with monsters down and added more sections like the swinging blades, spikes in the floor, etc. Each section of the castle also feels more or less like a palette swap.

I don't see how people could complain about this one as far as faithfulness to the series is concerned, it's basically a 3D SotN in respects to how it plays(minus the aforementioned problems).

@rajlle I think you're retarded, actually. Lords of Shadow IS a God of War rip-off, basically; and that's a bad thing. I hate God of War. Lament of Innocence is much better - it actually bothers to have an in-depth combat system that has an element of strategy (which would have been more evident had it ever really been needed (the enemy AI wasn't that great)), that actually bothered to try and create a sense of cohesion, etc.

What people say about god of war and castlevania lords of shadow is pretty valid though. It doesn't really feel like castlevania. theres no free roaming and no dracula, and 1/3 rd of the game is in the castle... castlevania has been terrible as soon as it turned 3d. I hope one day that will change.

It's no SoTN or SCIV, but it's by FAR the best 3D Castlevania. It's major downfalls are it's length and level design, but it's still a great game, especially for completionists.
