Ahhh... Gil Clark working at an AFOS terminal... the good ole days!!! He was one of my all time favorite hurricane specialists. I love how you mention Alvin Samet...besides being the voice of NOAA radio for so long, he used to sell me extra copies of old hurricane stills from the NHC library. Oh my, and Lixion's sitting in the background....lol. I'd give this a 10/10 if YouTube would let me!!!

I went to Alvin Samet's house 3-times and he gave me some neat photos for nothing. I've got tons of Alvin on audio tape from the 70s and 80s.
