I'm having the problem with my MSI Geforce N9800GT Zilent version. It starts good but after 5 min it freezes and then deskop goes with pink dots. Will it work on my version of GPU?
yea worked for me my fathers friend gived me nvidia 8400 gs video cart i have cooked with fire now its works veryyy good 512 mb i have installed drivers to now im typing this with my pc with nvidia 512 mb :)
what did you use in the beggining of the video to clean the card? and what happens to monitor connectors since they are made of plastic and you cant remove them
I just bought a 9800GTX+ on eBay for $13 with the description "Currently not fully working. Can still use but alot of artifacts on screen. May need to be baked."

Holeee shit it actually works. Was getting green lines on post, BIOS was all weirded out with symbols n crap, could only use 4 bit colors in XP 640x480 with artifacts everywhere. Sooooo...
375 degrees in a toaster oven, worked first time, couldn't freaking believe it. Card was an 8800GTS 320. Don't need a new card now, bit disappointed though as I was looking at getting a GTX460...lol. Oh well.

I wish to thank the guy who made this video. I did it today, since my nvidia asus 8800gt was defected. And guess what it works now.
I didnt know what the liquid was for, so i just cleaned it with a brush before putting into oven: 190 celzius 8 minutes

2)can toothpaste and\or vasaline mixture be applied instead of thermal paste?
