TYT continually tries to claim Ron Paul is a racist and supports Nazis. They continue to claim that he has a working relationship with Stormfront (a claim that was absolutely discredited not ONLY by the New York Times but by the VERY SOURCE of the story itself.)
The irony is that they really aren't even making fun of Ron Paul, they are making fun of the Republican party. Ron Paul brings up good points and gets cut off by a bell or Rudy Guliani's crazy ass.
And OF COURSE Ron Paul wasn't going to win. That's not a knock on Paul, that's a knock on the batshit crazy conservative right. You have to thump your chest and act like a stupid redneck to get the Republican nomination. Get it through your thick skulls people.....
@mtf10 but i think its both parties, bush is bad cop, obama is good cop. the parties working together. left vs. right is the distraction rich vs. poor. not talking about doctors or lawyers, rich means owners.
in what sense? i think the biggest distinction between the two is the role of the government. one clearly wants the government to intervene more whereas libertarians want to limit the government as much as possible
Hmmm... I should have chosen my words more clearly.
My point is that the term "liberal" is supposed to connote personal liberty, non-intervention, limited government, etc. Now it means the exact opposite in this part of the world. Hence the distinction of "classical liberal".
Libertarianism is essentially the same thing as "classical liberalism" (which was called "liberalism" before the socialists coöpted the word). It's just been updated slightly.
fair enough. i just didnt know what you were getting at. the term liberal is like socialism, in the sense that it is often misused, as well as having many meanings, depending on the context in which it is being used.

His hauty lil Lord Fontroy attitude speaks volumes about what kind of a low class gutter dwelling pig human he is. In attacking Ron Paul he says he is an enemey of the Constitution. Hating Liberty is un-American.
I'm a Ron Paul supporter and I'm not making him into a god or anything. Ron Paul is a good man, nothing else. Obama is just another scheming democrat, and McCain was another scheming republican. Paul was someone who didn't scheme and was honest, and that's why a lot of people admire him. In my opinion, that is real change. But yes, the Obama "cult" in America is getting to be REALLY scary.
how has that gone? all obama has done is transfer gitmo to illinois. obama has shown he is not much different than bush, just appeasing those who put him in office
Lmao, and vice versa. I'd be shocked to hear talk radio say one good thing about a democratic politician. (Not that I really support democrats per say). I am conservative and there aren't many good things I can say about Bush.
The only reason I'm still a republican is because of Ron Paul, until he leaves the party I'm staying. Ron Paul is one of the only trustworthy politicians in this country
If he was still in I'd vote for him. I tell you all this finger pointing pisses me off so much. If I could I'd grab both parties and choke them until they did the right thing. How can anyone expect what comes out of their mouths be doing the "right thing?"
Ron Paul is the only Republican I would ever vote for. Mainly because he wants to abolish the income tax and the federal reserve. Thats why the repubs dont like him. They love to tax. They're only against 'socialism' when it comes to giving something back in return.
That would be Ron Paul. He sounded like a democrate, so his own party pretty much wrote him off immediately. His supporters wanted him to run as an Independent but he said he didnt want to do it. He did have an a counter convention during the Republican National Convention with Independents speaking on his behalf though so maybe oneday he might join them.
he doesn't sound like a democrat in any sense except that he actually has a legitimate education & is genuinely a good man. BUT, he's basically a libertarian which is fraught with problems. he supports chuck baldwin & that's a paleoconservative. he also was on the clinton lynch mob, but didn't lift a finger when kucinich presented impeachment for bush's crimes. ultimately, dr paul is full of shit like the rest of 'em
Though he is a Republican he is also a former Libertarian and has been called a constitutionalist as well. Ron Paul was for regulations and he didnt support the war in Iraq or many other aspects of the Bush administration. These are things that the dems say constantly. So yeah he did sound like a democrat at times. Like John McCain, his stances kept the RightWing base from supporting him. However McCain was smart enough to select a running mate that helped him reunify the Republican party.
i disagree. just because he didn't support the war doesn't make him sound like a democrat. a libertarians & constitutionalists are light years away from being democrat. in fact, they're more conservative than republicans. john mccain didn't unify his party with palin. it was a transparent political move to put a pretty face on failed policy. congratulations though, you're the 1st person that i've ever heard use mccain & smart in the same sentence
His lack of support for the war is the main things that ruined him during the Rep primaries. McCain was gungho for everything the Rightwing supported and cut down his opponents with ease. Yet his base hated him. Picking Palin was a move aimed to get Clinton supporters and excite the Republican base. He wouldnt have spiked in the polls if it wasnt for her. Obama would be blowing him away in a landslide hadnt he picked Palin. McCain will still lose; just not as badly as he wouldve before Palin.
He went back to the Republican party only because the corrupt 2 party system we have in America simply WILL NEVER allow an independent to win a presidential election. The bad part is that a lot of people who otherwise would agree with a lot of what he says won't vote for him just because of the "R" next to his name.
Ron Paul is so unlike all the other GOP candidates it is unreal... i don't agree with everything he says but he is just such a breath of fresh air!
Yeah, Huckabee was probably the funniest guy in the race. "You see these three birds? They didn't vote for me on caucus night. I'm very positive. Vote for me, you live. Don't vote for me, mmmff *smack-down motion*"
What I find amazing is that Ron Paul didn't win the Republcan primary. All indications said he would. TV said he had 30% while others were only in the single digits like John McCain. But after the primaries John McCain became the next candidate for President. How can it be when all indications are he was never close to winning anything? The only thing I can come up with is election fraud. I am a Democrat and vote Democrat so, I am not partial to who Republcans vote for. It's just my observation.
This just goes to remind me there were (and are) some pretty unbelievable people in the Republican race. Ron Paul is the only one who is reasonable on the war and who I'd call an anti-big-government, pro-personal-liberty conservative, but the Republican party has become too evangelized and authoritarian to respond to him.

He is most likely the next President of the US. A woman in office would make the Islam extremist go nuts and kick up more issue due to their F#cked up treatment, and view of women, and though I have agreta amount of respect for Senator McCain, as a soldier and a patriot. He would be leaving office at age 81. The next several months are going to be interesting to say the least
The young turks were a nationalist/rebel organization formed during the time of the Ottoman Empire. in contemporary usage a Young Turk is a rebel. In the past, the young turks used to be more open to different nationalities seeking independence and change in the ottoman empire, but it became more nationalistic and "turkish" as time went on.
Woke up today a changed man and I love liberals, I really do. I wish to apologize to all of the fine people on this video. I was an ass, a real ass and I ask for you all to forgive and forget.
I feel like Ebenezer Scrooge on Christmas day. I had a visit from Christmas past and yet to come. Well, let's just say that I had to make a deal to save my soul. From now on, I have to look like like my profile.
Wow. What an amazingly laughable field of candidates it was. How soon we forget.
John McCain may be a flawed candidate, but at least he's a competent candidate. Any of those others would have been simply OBLITERATED by Obama or Clinton.
Romney will now have to sell used cars ! ( Yeah right...LOL he still owns "Bain", what a MF he is. I was So bloody happy to see his failure. All these guys are very clearly Fascists but for Paul.
Is it logical to submit to a death cult of 1,500,000,000 and refuse to fight back because there may exist an individual in it who doesn't want to torture you to death?
Are "all" Democrats treasonous?
Again, your brutishly imbecilic attempts at logic continue to impress, ninny.
When you fail to discriminate between innocent Jews and the global plague of Islamic Fascism you exhibit the depraved equivocation that spawns Nazi, Liberal and Islamic fascism.
I'm certainly not crazy about McCain. I'd rather have a conservative as the nominee. A real conservative, that is. However, he'll have to do. The idea of Hillary in the White House sickens me. I think that she's more of a threat to McCain that Obama. Obama's a lightweight who hasn't been tested yet. When people find out what he truly thinks about all the issues, it's curtains.
I don't get the Tancredo part of the video. Are they trying to bash him by pointing out something "extreme" that he said? Honestly, most Americans probably agree with him on speaking English in America.
war is a sham. bankers pull the strings. ron paul was/is the only candidate who would fight for the american people, the rest are, sadly, bought and paid for by said banking elite.
tylernull, do you even know what fascism is? it's when government and industry (see our military-(formerly industrial)-entertainment complex) work together, against The People.
our current state of affairs is so thick with corruption it just makes me sick on a daily basis. investigate a bit, you'll see it too.
Polls have consistently shown that McCain is the only Republican with a shot. Ron Paul was nowhere on the radar. Paul would have gotten the shit kicked out of him by the Dems because they would have brought up his extremist positions and scared old people on social security. McCain does have a chance because he appeals to independents. Most Americans don't even know what a "neocon" is. Americans dislike Bush, but McCain isn't Bush. Americans are also sick of rabid liberals.
You know what egghead. You're really beginning to bother me now. I haven't even replied to any of your silly nonsense. Please don't reply to any more of my messages. How do you know I'm even talking to you eh? I could be talking to someone else completely. Give it a rest. Unless you actually voted in the 1980 & 1984 elections. I suggest you stop harrassing me. I voted in those 2 elections. I regret ever voting for RWR. I am a INDEPENDENT thank you! I'm not even a dem. PERIOD.
Who CARES if he hasn't quit? He lost, God damn it! Accept defeat. So if, after the 2004 election, John Kerry had said, "Well I'm not quitting. I'm going to run into 2005!," that would have meant that he hadn't lost? I'm sick of you Paul guys. If McCain wins the election in November, you idiots will still be saying, "McCain's electors are going to vote for Ron Paul! Ron Paul's going to be President!" Just STFU.
What is evident here is the D and D effect: Effect of Demonizing and Dehumanizing.
Demonizing an individual, group or culture generally involves a suspension of the normal considerations of humane behavior and respect. Given that the subjects that are demonized are portrayed as evil and/or subhuman beyond any dispute, then any means of action in self-defense is considered legitimate, in proportion to the threat represented. Dehumanization: process of developing an "enemy image".
In each of his threads the pervasive D and D effect is utilized; projected onto Muslims in broad statements such as "infestation in the host country" or "democrat treason".
In his rhetoric, on all of his posts, this strategy is utlized. The similarities in his words and those of Hitler are chilling.
"Muslims are warring on all people of all religions of all races on all continents they infest. Muslims live parasitically in host nations, have zero tolerance for anyone else, attack their host and blame their victims for Muslim bloodlust. Islam is a 1,400+ yr fascist plague."
Not voting for Ronald Reagan is smart enough for me. I voted for Mr. Reagan twice & I now regret ever voting for him. I apoligize for ever voting republican. That was the biggest mistake of my life. I was brainwashed from 1976 to 1996. I regret every single time I voted republican. Don't even go there. I absolutely can not stand the republican party & what it stands for. Hate, hate & more hate. Hate is not a family value & neither is war. Period.
Your entire post is totally absurd because it's based on opinion. "Hate, hate & more hate." Liberals use the "h" word when they can't think of anything intelligent to say. You're boring me. War? The Democrats have gotten us into more wars than the GOP. You're an IDIOT. Period. Reagan was a very good President.
HAVE, that's the main point making there. The problem is that the GOP has lost their way.
I am a right wing classical liberal, with undertones on fiscal conservatism and I find nothing - nothing - of that in the current administration. When people like Ron Paul are laughed at for wanting t lower taxes and cut spending, something is definetly wrong with the party. He's a nut case, but the right kind, and the GOP should take not of that, not criticize him and promote more spending and deficit.
I never said that the Bush administration is conservative. However, Ron Paul is an anachronistic loon. He goes too far. That is why I don't hold him in high regard.
He's about as neo-conservative as you could get, the problem is that people doesn't even know what conservatism is. They think fiscal conservatism, economic freedom, personal liberties are conservatives values. They are not, they are classical liberal ones or libertarian ones. Conservativism is another one of the undefinable ideologies because all it really is is a proponent for status quo and against change.
300 years ago the conservative party were the ones who didn't want to fight the Brits.
Okay, but are you arguing that today's conservatives wouldn't have fought the Brits and that today's liberals would have? The revolutionaries were against high taxes. Liberals are for high taxes. The revolutionaries were willing to fight a war against the government. Hippie liberals would have called it an unjust war. The revolutionaries believed in owning guns to fight tyranny. Ted Kennedy said, "Our government tyrannical?!" in response to Ashcroft's CORRECT argument for the second amendment.
If you think the revolutionary war happened because of taxes you're probobly one of those people that believe the civil war was fought over slavery.
But anyway, are conservatives today against taxes? Yes. Are they against spending? No. They have adopted the loan and spend economical idea of kenyan which has put the US in a place in the world with THE largest deficit.
If China wanted to, they could change their loans into another currency and make the dollar crash.
No, those people aren't really conservatives. I'm against tax and spend and borrow and spend. I want to cut government, just not in as extremist a manner as Ron Paul wants to do.
Ron Paul will win this time.

Lmao, and vice versa. I'd be shocked to hear talk radio say one good thing about a democratic politician. (Not that I really support democrats per say). I am conservative and there aren't many good things I can say about Bush.

Far as I can tell I'm STILL writing in Ron Paul for US President.
Comic relief (but still vastly better than the average corrupt politician) will be me writing in Doug Stanhope for VP.
McCain v Obama = another false choice. Ugh.

If he was still in I'd vote for him. I tell you all this finger pointing pisses me off so much. If I could I'd grab both parties and choke them until they did the right thing. How can anyone expect what comes out of their mouths be doing the "right thing?"
yuukisama2001 3 years ago
Ron Paul is the only Republican I would ever vote for. Mainly because he wants to abolish the income tax and the federal reserve. Thats why the repubs dont like him. They love to tax. They're only against 'socialism' when it comes to giving something back in return.

I think this video is broken. One of the republicans didn't sound like a complete idiot. The little one with white hair.
metsfanal 3 years ago 3
That would be Ron Paul. He sounded like a democrate, so his own party pretty much wrote him off immediately. His supporters wanted him to run as an Independent but he said he didnt want to do it. He did have an a counter convention during the Republican National Convention with Independents speaking on his behalf though so maybe oneday he might join them.
deomartinez77 3 years ago 2
he doesn't sound like a democrat in any sense except that he actually has a legitimate education & is genuinely a good man. BUT, he's basically a libertarian which is fraught with problems. he supports chuck baldwin & that's a paleoconservative. he also was on the clinton lynch mob, but didn't lift a finger when kucinich presented impeachment for bush's crimes. ultimately, dr paul is full of shit like the rest of 'em
upabittoolate 3 years ago 3
Though he is a Republican he is also a former Libertarian and has been called a constitutionalist as well. Ron Paul was for regulations and he didnt support the war in Iraq or many other aspects of the Bush administration. These are things that the dems say constantly. So yeah he did sound like a democrat at times. Like John McCain, his stances kept the RightWing base from supporting him. However McCain was smart enough to select a running mate that helped him reunify the Republican party.
deomartinez77 3 years ago
i disagree. just because he didn't support the war doesn't make him sound like a democrat. a libertarians & constitutionalists are light years away from being democrat. in fact, they're more conservative than republicans. john mccain didn't unify his party with palin. it was a transparent political move to put a pretty face on failed policy. congratulations though, you're the 1st person that i've ever heard use mccain & smart in the same sentence
upabittoolate 3 years ago 2
His lack of support for the war is the main things that ruined him during the Rep primaries. McCain was gungho for everything the Rightwing supported and cut down his opponents with ease. Yet his base hated him. Picking Palin was a move aimed to get Clinton supporters and excite the Republican base. He wouldnt have spiked in the polls if it wasnt for her. Obama would be blowing him away in a landslide hadnt he picked Palin. McCain will still lose; just not as badly as he wouldve before Palin.
deomartinez77 3 years ago 2
@deomartinez77

This just goes to remind me there were (and are) some pretty unbelievable people in the Republican race. why is this show calles 'young turks' anyway??
KaraManiya 3 years ago
Exactly :D.
IboCino 3 years ago
The young turks were a nationalist/rebel organization formed during the time of the Ottoman Empire. in contemporary usage a Young Turk is a rebel. In the past, the young turks used to be more open to different nationalities seeking independence and change in the ottoman empire, but it became more nationalistic and "turkish" as time went on.

Edgehead10057 3 years ago
I don't get the Tancredo part of the video. Are they trying to bash him by pointing out something "extreme" that he said? Honestly, most Americans probably agree with him on speaking English in America.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago
war is a sham. bankers pull the strings. ron paul was/is the only candidate who would fight for the american people, the rest are, sadly, bought and paid for by said banking elite.
tylernull, do you even know what fascism is? it's when government and industry (see our military-(formerly industrial)-entertainment complex) work together, against The People.
our current state of affairs is so thick with corruption it just makes me sick on a daily basis. investigate a bit, you'll see it too.
MiztahBuddy 3 years ago
I believe it's "was" now. Ron Paul's done, McCain's the nominee.
rjfrjf65 3 years ago
But McCain stands no chance. America is sick of the neocon agenda.
Ron Paul has lit a fire among some people. People like me who grew disgusted with Washington. And this fire is only going to grow.
chunksloth 3 years ago
Polls have consistently shown that McCain is the only Republican with a shot. Ron Paul was nowhere on the radar. Paul would have gotten the shit kicked out of him by the Dems because they would have brought up his extremist positions and scared old people on social security. McCain does have a chance because he appeals to independents. Most Americans don't even know what a "neocon" is. Americans dislike Bush, but McCain isn't Bush. Americans are also sick of rabid liberals.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago

Adrasteia988 3 years ago
In reference to YT TylerNull:
In each of his threads the pervasive D and D effect is utilized; projected onto Muslims in broad statements such as "infestation in the host country" or "democrat treason".
In his rhetoric, on all of his posts, this strategy is utlized. The similarities in his words and those of Hitler are chilling.
Adrasteia988 3 years ago

Period.
WhiteIguana 3 years ago
Your entire post is totally absurd because it's based on opinion. "Hate, hate & more hate." Liberals use the "h" word when they can't think of anything intelligent to say. You're boring me. War? The Democrats have gotten us into more wars than the GOP. You're an IDIOT. Period. Reagan was a very good President.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago
HAVE, that's the main point making there. The problem is that the GOP has lost their way.
I am a right wing classical liberal, with undertones on fiscal conservatism and I find nothing - nothing - of that in the current administration. When people like Ron Paul are laughed at for wanting t lower taxes and cut spending, something is definetly wrong with the party. He's a nut case, but the right kind, and the GOP should take not of that, not criticize him and promote more spending and deficit.
Visfen 3 years ago
I never said that the Bush administration is conservative. However, Ron Paul is an anachronistic loon. He goes too far. That is why I don't hold him in high regard.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago
He's about as neo-conservative as you could get, the problem is that people doesn't even know what conservatism is. They think fiscal conservatism, economic freedom, personal liberties are conservatives values. They are not, they are classical liberal ones or libertarian ones. Conservativism is another one of the undefinable ideologies because all it really is is a proponent for status quo and against change.
300 years ago the conservative party were the ones who didn't want to fight the Brits.
Visfen 3 years ago
Okay, but are you arguing that today's conservatives wouldn't have fought the Brits and that today's liberals would have? The revolutionaries were against high taxes. Liberals are for high taxes. The revolutionaries were willing to fight a war against the government. Hippie liberals would have called it an unjust war. The revolutionaries believed in owning guns to fight tyranny. Ted Kennedy said, "Our government tyrannical?!" in response to Ashcroft's CORRECT argument for the second amendment.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago
If you think the revolutionary war happened because of taxes you're probobly one of those people that believe the civil war was fought over slavery.
But anyway, are conservatives today against taxes? Yes. Are they against spending? No. They have adopted the loan and spend economical idea of kenyan which has put the US in a place in the world with THE largest deficit.
If China wanted to, they could change their loans into another currency and make the dollar crash.
Visfen 3 years ago
No, those people aren't really conservatives. I'm against tax and spend and borrow and spend. I want to cut government, just not in as extremist a manner as Ron Paul wants to do.
Edgehead10057 3 years ago
But they are, just as liberalism is a huge
