If your iPod Touch 2G is MC model and under IOS 4, do this: download IOS 4.1 for Ipod Touch 2G, then restore your iPod using iTunes (hold shift+click on restore to locate the downloaded file). Then, download GreenPois0n RC4 (MUST be RC4); follow instructions on screen, wait 2 mins and done. On your ipod, connect to Wi-fi, then run the file called Loader and install Cydia and then remove Loader. You're done. I just did it on mine I'm happy! (Remember, 4.1 firmware and GreenPois0n RC4)! Thumbs up?

Guys, I first had trouble too but I got it now, here it goes: When you open the site, click "download" on the top right corner and then from there choose the 4.1 download. Now once you have downloaded it and extracted it, open it. After running it like your suppose to, the Loader should work!!! THUMBS UP IF THIS WORKED :)

Guys, for those who are experiencing loader problems, what you need to do is go to itunes and itunes will prompt you to update your software to 4.2.. After syncing of all your files. try rejailbreaking your ipod then you may start using the Loader Icon and download cydia. Happy Jailbreaking Buds and Doodles! :)

well i decided not to jailbreak. i been lookin around youtube comments... and too many ppl got their ipod fuckd off from doing this. it aint insured by survival... so i cant take that ride.

@swifty562 Just do it. Here some reasons:

1. You can restore your iDevice like it was new again by going to iTunes and simply click "Restore" (If your iDevice is connected, in your case, your iPod i assume.)

2. People got stuck at rebooting, white screen, or why cydia icon. What you dont know is that they solved it, they wont comment again with "Nvm guys i solved my reboot problem by doing ..". There are video's out there.

I cant type much, but i can say this for sure:

I believe u guys are all downloading rc6.1(which is for 4.21) for your 4.0-4.1 models, you need to download rc4 and you should be fine, if yours is 4.21 get rc6.1

Release the sleep button: I release and continue to hold the home. The screen has not changed, it stays black, and does not give me the terminal coding. @jesusfreak2440 i had the same problem...if you read the readme ( yeah i know no one ever does) it says that - the device should run iOS 4.2.1...this means that you need to upgrade to ios 4.2.1 to jailbreak with this version of greenpoison... my advice is to find a version of green poison on a file hosting site (or someting) that was made for ios 4.1

@ansem533 then that means that its not in dfu mode bro. trust me, it took me about three tries for it to ACTUALLY go into dfu mode. lol well in my case this is wat happened " i did it once and my ipod turned off, but it was not in dfu mode. while it was off i tried it once more and still no luck. the THIRD time, i did it while it was still off, my cpu made a weird noise then it said installing software then boom, ready to jailbreak! " i swear, i was jumping around when i saw that. lol

ok so put it in the DFU mode and then click jailbreak and it loads for a couple secs then it says jailbreak failed ive restored my ipod and made sure i had 4.1 witch i do and i tried again and same thing can u help me please !!?? thanks
